Beer is what I do for a living so I'm always curious about people's tastes. So, do you drink beer? What kind? If not, why not? Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Cheers!

Edited by Braythor: 3/9/2018 2:52:53 PMLove it. Never used to, used to be a cider drinker (I'm UK so cider is by definition alcoholic here), but then my tastes changed, no idea why. I like most beer, but I prefer ones that aren't too hoppy. Depending on how I feel, I usually have either blonde, stout/porter (but NOT Guiness, yuck), or wheat beer (I'm a big fan of Blue Moon). I also like a good pilsner now and then. Currently having a Warsteiner, whilst some Hoegaardens chill in the fridge.

1 Reply^ My personal favourite. I'll usually switch between Sam Adams Seasonals, Yuengling, Guinness, and Blue Moon.

3 RepliesNo thanks.

Edited by CaptainMericah: 3/4/2018 4:33:48 PMBrown ales and amber lagers. Also cerveza. Sam Adams, Yeungling, Modelo are some of my go to grocery store beers.

Lol. I found the “I’m too young (Root Beer)” option funny. Gave me a little laugh. -
3 RepliesLove me some good IPAs recently moved to Yakima where they grow lots of hops. Been trying lots of local beers there. I prefer local craft over big company’s. But if I had to choose a major company I’d say Coors Banquet because they donate to wildland firefighters

8 RepliesEdited by Flynn: 3/5/2018 2:59:58 AMI mostly like dark beer but I'll drink light stuff during the summer. Not much of an IPA fan.

3 RepliesNot really Age requirements will get you. If those don't, the Feds do. If those fail, the "Plan C" of life will get you: Parents.

8 RepliesI drink a lot maybe once a week. Miller light. About 30. My favorite beer is Guinness foreign extra stout but they stopped selling it in my state.

2 RepliesStella Artois is really enjoyable.

1 ReplyI've had many beers in my life. The different types of beer seemed to change every few years. When I was around 18 and 19, I typically drank cheap domestic brands (Bud, Coors, Miller, etc.) This eventually transitioned to malt liquor beer (Olde English, Colt 45, King Cobra, etc) up until I was 23. From age 24 to 32, I drank mostly locally crafted Pale Ales and Mexican cerveza. Then I switched to English Pub ales. I liked the pint cans with the plastic ball gimmick. (Guiness, Boddingtons, Tetley's, etc) Then when I was 35....
I quit drinking. I'm 41 now.
4 RepliesI don’t care for beer

3 RepliesBeer tastes like urine and yes I have accidentally tasted my own urine before so I am familiar with the taste! People tell me hey it's good when you learn to like it but if you have to learn to like something it's really not good! I like Mead, Jack Daniels, Whiskey, and even gin. Beer though I hate I've tried several brands to me it all tasts like pi$$!

2 RepliesDude I’m a raging alcoholic I drink 2 liters of RootBeer daily

2 RepliesSamuel L. Jackson beer, hilarious!!!

1 ReplyI gave alcohol up for Lent, but before that, the go-to beer that I would go for is "The Therapist" IPA. I remember trying out this stout that tasted exactly like chocolate. If I ever see that again, I'm definitely ordering it.

1 ReplyToo young, but root beer screws with my stomach...
-
1 ReplyGUINNESS! AND YES I AM 15, BUT I AM IRISH!
-
3 RepliesI like ye olde cheap shit, but I'll try a craft beer once in a while

2 RepliesIs Colt 45 considered a craft beer?
-
1 ReplyI'm ambivalent towards beer but I do believe that all Budweiser products taste like warm piss.

1 ReplyI know to some people that saying "I don't like beer" is like saying "I don't like music," since there are so many different varieties, but I will say that I have yet to find a beer I even remotely like. I just hate the bitterness and the hoppy taste. Also doesn't help that, after getting way too drunk at a party and throwing up three times, whenever I smell beer all I can think of is the stench of vomit. It's kind of a shame really, because I think the culture surrounding craft beer is pretty cool, but I feel like I can't get into it because I hate beer so much. For those curious my drinks of choice are either spirits or mixers.
