I already mentioned this several times here, but I honestly think that they are trying to drive everyone away from D1. IMO they purposefully developed a super simplified game to cash in on D1 loyalest that Bungie knew were expecting more. It worked and sales were through the roof. Now we’re at the stage where most everyone is aware of the fact that D2 season 1 is not even half of what a severely flawed D1 season 1 was. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Bungie is trying to make D2 quietly go away to get the resulting stench off of themselves. They already have everyone’s money...the grift worked. There’s really no reasonable way to argue against that when considering their inaction in general. The offensive and mostly minute worthless updates don’t paint a pretty picture either.

Emblems. This game is on effing life support and they wanna act like they did something to “improve” the game by adding some useless who gives af EMBLEMS. WOW. “But its a step in the right direction” stfu with that nonsense. No it isn’t. It’s continuing their perpetual cycle of not doing what anyone is begging for and acting like they deserve a pat on the back. Idiots.

Any of these changes would have been better than this pointless update. Ability cooldowns need to be reduced to D1 settings. Less space magic isn't fun. The Vortex Nova Bomb needs a bigger blast radius. The Slova Bomb is buggy, and sometimes doesn't even kill enemies. The 'shoot' button during Stormcaller is buggy and non responsive sometimes. The same goes for the 'square' (PS4) button when trying to pick up an arc charge, revive, etc. If I'm holding the button down already, it should work. I shouldn't have to press it again. Bring back the primary/special/heavy loadout. The new one sucks. Our characters are slow, weak, and the hunter and warlock jumps are terrible. Bring back machine guns. Int/Dis/Str. Mobilty/Armor/Recovery adjustments should be put back in the skill trees like D1. Make tracking available on ALL launchers. Give them bigger magazines. Bounties. Stop designing your strikes in a way that lets lazy players just run past everything. Make shaders infinite use, and add a shader kiosk. Let us use our sparrow on Mercury. Tone down the teleport ability of Minotaurs and Captains. If their shield is down, they shouldn't be able to teleport, like in D1. Add Death From Above(Striker) and Combustion(Golden Gun) to the skill trees. Make the Sunsinger super an option in the Dawnblade skill tree. Random rolls and better perks on weapons. Add some more legendary VoC/Cryptic Dragon design scout rifles. Buff Firefly/Dragonfly. Each season should add new weapons like D1. Not just re-skins. Make exotics worth using. Get rid of stupid perks like "reloads your sidearm." That's not exotic. ex. The Sunbreaker gauntlets should grant an extra grenade like they did in D1. Hire writers that actually use the grimoire lore in their stories. If 'important targets' are engaged in combat with a player, they should not disappear. Buff snipers in PvE. They can't even one-shot a shielded red bar enemy. Factions should be available all the time. Get rid of the pointless faction rally. Give Ikora a unique/better loot pool. Make her meditations worth doing. If we are at 334 light level, exotic engrams should decrypt at 335, not 334

I am curious what information you’re using to back up your assertions. I was a hardcore player when this game released. I logged three hundred hours in the first two months, completing 30+ Leviathan raids in normal and close to 30 Prestige Nightfalls. I completed one Prestige Raid and decided the game was lackluster and stopped playing for about two and a half months. Now, I am back and see the changes they have made are positive. The current positive change is with the Nightfall. Sure, I miss the difficulty of pre Curse of Osiris Prestige Nightfalls, but this scoring system adds a new element of difficulty. I like it. Obviously the mod system and masterworks need to improve to justify player investment, but I can say the recent changes have made the game more enjoyable.

I'm not even sure the big wigs at Bungie even know how badly they messed up. They're probably telling everyone there it's just the "vocal minority" that are unhappy with D2 and the game is a resounding success. I can only imagine the amount of back patting that goes on during meetings.

Yep, Every BHB is simply making things worse. Sad excuses of a gamer and a player. I don't mind the changes, its different, and can change things up. This ain't destiny 1, get over it. Your playing Destiny 2, but hopefully I don't ever have the unfortunate luck of playing with any of them. If they don't play anymore. Good, ain't hurting anyone's feelings but their own. :)

The management and developers have absolutely NO CLUE what they are doing...... unless their goal is to utterly destroy what is left of this franchise. In that case, well done!

This. It’s a sad day when you turn from a staunch defender of a game you love into one of the people you were defending against....all because of inept development decisions and/or incompetent execution that no longer has a shred of defensible content. Unbelievable.

There's an emblem for that coming up that lets you know how many players they've pissed off. I believe they are calling it "The Rage of Ages" emblem. True story.

You clowns in the Bungie Hate Brigade(BHB) are the ones that are clueless and out of touch. The nightfall specific weapons were scheduled to be in this update but the artists needed more time to make them unique so you clowns wouldnt throw a fit about reskins. Bungie isnt the one making a big deal about these emblems, you are.

I feel like the emblems was a minor addition which had to be brought to the forefront due to other changes being delayed, sadly rather than delay the whole patch they decided to release something which has again made them all look a right bunch of idiots..

I want an emblem to show how many friends are playing destiny. Maybe I could hit 1 before next update

My dude.... it is impossible to be THIS incompetent. They are purposefully sabatoging the Destiny franchise because they want out. They dont want to make this game anymore. They dont want to partner with Activision anymore. They bit off more than they can chew with the whole concept of the franchise.... you are watching them kill themselves but at the same time you are asking why they dont care about you? If you've ever had to deal with a person who is hell-bent on self destruction, you'd know the same signs are here with Bungie. No rant, no matter how well worded or heartfealt, will ever get through to them.

I love the fact that one of their emblems that tracks kills by class doesn’t even track. It just divided kills by 3 and split evenly and gave warlocks the odd amount. GG
