New Low - Destiny Down to 843K PVE Players Yesterday, January 8th
I look daily. It’s declined regularly to 1.1 or even 1 million... and generally hovers around 1.2 lately.
This is the lowest over ever seen it.

13 RepliesI’ve not played destiny in a month. Say what you will, but in year 1 destiny I was still grinding VOG and Crota at this stage.

1 ReplyThere's two kinds of grind. D1 had good grind. You ground your ass off for a god roll Eyasluna, that power spike was your reward. Black Desert Online has that good grind. You grind your ass off for stones and money that *directly* translate to your power. Time is rewarded with power D2 has no good grind. You grind your ass off... For the same Nameless Midnight you got 20 times before. D2 does not make you feel powerful, time =/= power in D2. Your time isn't rewarded at all.

2 RepliesPrior to the April Update in year 3, D1 PVE numbers were hovering at 600k or even below that. PVP numbers were averaging between 300 and 400k at that time.

2 RepliesThat's a combined D1 and D2. I'm assuming there are still 150k - 200k D1 players on xbox/360 and ps3/ps4. That means less that 1 million players on D2 yesterday, that's not good for a 4 month old game of this stature.

The sandbox "as is" certainly is amongst the weakest and most boring I've ever experienced. Double primary chipping away at bullet sponges is not better than D1 explosive space magic.

I only played destiny for pve, the changes like slow recharges next to no skill tree customization bc of pvp really sucked, but the nail in the coffin for me is this new weapon system, it’s horrible, kinda like the loot in D2 right now.

Just think it's a month and a half perhaps more until the next bland quick to finish dlc drops... d2 is so deep in the shit the bubbles take an hour to reach the surface.

7 RepliesIts no surprise is it. The game runs out of steam almost immediately. There's literally no reason to play unless you just enjoy repetitively shooting the same mobs and doing the same stuff over and over again, just so that you can disassemble the same repeat legendary and exotic engrams you've already seen 100 times already.

2 RepliesThat is horrible for a reset day. Even during the content drought I don’t think the numbers were that low for D1. I remember all year one and year 3 not being able to wait for Tuesday so I could run VOG and CE again for the rewards.
