So, with all the trolling out there by folks who have no skin in the game, I want to say "Great Job Bungie" I've been working through the Osiris timeline one hour at a time and those hours are joy filled. Thank you for all you do for the gaming community in general and I hope the Bungie community grows strong together.
So you know. I'm a 'casual' player so my input may not be valuable to the sweaty population but nonetheless, Destiny 2 is my go-to game / my hobby. (and I confess to some D1 adventures too). I completely missed all the xp throttling noise and I didn't care anything about the Osirus Content needing extra purchases ; I enjoy XP but it doesn't define my game experience and I buy all the content available when it becomes available because I believe strongly in supporting game developers that create compelling content. I don't expect something for nothing. Nobody should - you get what you pay for...
That said, I will dump any game developer that uses a Pay-to-Win model. Thankfully, Bungie microtransactions do not affect gameplay in any way other than cosmetic - and the engrams from Tess are plentiful without ever buying silver.
(EDIT) I'm not a Bungie nor Activision nor an employee of the Destiny franchise nor subsidiary nor subcontractor. I think the suggestion that I'm any more than a fan is hilarious. I did buy the full beta deluxe D2 on Pre-Order within the first week it was announced and available and I did play the beta and may have left feedback - if that got my UserID on the credits I would have loved to catch that. I'm pretty sure I would have lost my mind upon seeing my GamerTag in the credits... I did watch all of the credits which most likely hints at another flaw in my character : I appreciate content creators - it is SO much harder to create something than to tear it down, and I respect those creators enough to watch the credits. I've never gotten so many comments. Thank you all - even the trolls that create content.

You’ve got more balls posting this here than the salt miners telling people to kill themselves. Nice

2 Replies“Trolling?” “Sweaty?” You don’t sound like a casual gamer, you sound like a hype boy at a Bungie desk.

4 RepliesEdited by Zoey: 12/13/2017 12:39:01 AMI love the game and enjoy the couple hours i play it a night. I actually have more fun with this one then i did Halo which was a good game too. That doesnt mean this one doesnt have problems that need addressed and fixed. the one people keep saying they took content away.......already addressed and fixed so i dont even know why its still peoples go to complaint ...was it a -blam!-ed up move yesh....but it was also a move made in reflection to comments from D1 ....old raids were no longer worth the time ....so they upgraded it .....good move ....but bad execution..instead of doing it the way they did and raised the light cap they should of just added a 3rd power level , Normal , Heroic , Prestige , with Heroic being the old Prestige so you would have a 270 , 300 , and a 330 light version. PVP PVE being balanced as one is the worst thing any game can do they should be separated ..even as far as adding earned PVP gear with PVP stats that would be required inorder to survive past the base PVP starting maps make PVE gear useless in PVP and you wouldn't have to balance them ...add a PVP def stat to PVP armor or like a crit resist and for PVP weapons add th balance stat of penetrate armor and + crit just adding these to them would make PVE armor and weapons useless based the recruit stage of PVP .. PVP armor could be broken down into 3 light classes 270 (blue) Recruit 300 (legend) veteran 330 (legend/exotic) Hero earning tokens for each as you get more and more points for doing more and more PVP ......... once your PVP light level gets to high enough you would move between the light levels and open up more of the PVP events so on and so on.....doing this would make PVE gear useless in PVP and make it to where there wouldnt be a need to balance PVE gear for PVP. there is other problems in the game too but not enough to take away from the fun i have while playing it but i would love to see it fixed.

14 RepliesEdited by DredgenYor666: 12/14/2017 4:06:01 AMYou my friend are in the very tiny, almost non existent, minority. Of course from all these comments you probably know that though.

I enjoy this game and i do not fear the bandwagon trolls, i know only a small percentage of people who play are on forums while trolls thrive on forums as it is their life blood and only way of getting attention so i accept the fact that i will be downvoted as i know it means nothing ^^ This game is the best and playing reminds me so much of how halo felt although its far from the same it still has the feel.

10 RepliesBut when you look at what we had at the end of D1, D2 is an enormous step back. You are the target audience for this game because you don’t care if it’s good, you want something sub-par to switch your brain off too great. But the challenges D1 presented are what kept the attention of the players that stayed and what made this game (the game you love) possible. Without those “sweaty” community members keeping Bungie honest you would have nothing more than this glorified faberge egg (looks pretty but is hollow) The reason the community is up in arms is because for everything bungie fixed they took a big hunk of soul from the original in exchange. This is just COD in space. The RPG elements are an after thought in the interest of balance. So you enjoy this game, I’m super happy for you, but when all the people that made destiny a success and kept it going just walk away and stop complaining, that will be the day this game dies, because there will be no one left who cares.

Finally a bit of refreshing perspective. I don't agree entirely but I appreciate the sincerity. I'm tired of all the ranting already.

22 RepliesFirst rule of the internet, Do not feed the trolls. Destiny and Destiny 2 are amazing games! I really don't understand why people are so obsessed with the bright engrams. I have not bought any silver and I have loads of sparrows, ships, ornaments, etc.. It is a whole lot easier to get these aesthetic type items on destiny 2 than destiny 1, if anything I see an improvement. Does anyone really remember destiny 1 vanilla? the lack of content compared to Destiny 2 vanilla is astounding, but yet a large sum of this community doesn't see that.

3 RepliesAll in all I agree with you, as many things as there are wrong, there are many many great things about this game. I do enjoy playing it as well. Getting those prophecy tablet verses done this past week was quite a grind and I actually enjoyed it lol. 25 heroic strikes made me have some nostalgic feelings

6 RepliesThis is a legit bungie employee xD check his user name, it's in the credits xD bungies trying to make "happy review" XD I'm dieing XD

LMAO Love the edit :)

Bungie employee confirmed. Hey. fire the idiots with "vision" that ruined D2

I'm glad you can enjoy the game more than most of the forums can. I like it, yeah, but I still have issues with it. You're getting a lot of backlash because all you did in your post was give the game praise. Where a post giving it equal praise and criticism would be much better received, and hell, Bungie may even read it for feedback.

OkAy? Thanks for the update

If you ever speak bad about this game all the whiny man babies that “hate” this game but still buy all the DLCs and preorder come at you like prairie dogs. They don’t see the irony in their actions...
