I'm tired of people claiming "Eververse is purely cosmetic, you don't have to buy anything." Sure, they are [i]just cosmetic[/i], but doesn't that have weight? Don't you want a cool looking guardian? Wouldn't you enjoy looking badass for all the hard work you put in seeking that one cool piece of gear? I would... Remember running strikes in D1 for the hood of Malok or other unique gear? How is it satisfying to see a guy just buy the game looking cooler than your guardian you've spent hours tweaking and trying to make perfect? What happened to that? There's got to be a better way than just grinding out levels to pull the rng slot machine one more time. I feel like it's an injustice and a huge testament to corporate greed taking away everything that made the Destiny franchise special. I liked my guardian in D1. I don't even know my guardian in D2, [b]AND[/b] they carried him over. I'm not trying to bash them for making a poor game. In fact it's the exact opposite. I love Destiny and the times I've had over the years. It's not an exaggeration to say I've put more time and effort into this franchise than any other. Hell, I loved D1 so much I bought it for 3 different consoles just to play with all my friends. I'm more sad because it's not the destiny or the Bungie I love anymore. Maybe it's the times, and maybe it's the nostalgia, but I miss the game that I couldn't put down.

Ok if you just pay Bungie for the deficit then ok since i am not paying extra on DLC becourse some rétard wanted to troll with some idea he had... Eververse is pure cosmetics where do you get an advantage u dont get otherwise please point that out... its cosmetic something every single game has... if not then price increases elsewhere... Its so sickening that trolls are warping things and making it impossible to actually come with real negatives and decent suggestions as all they want is attention... I see countless of them often without game or barely above light level 200... so bothersome no constructive feedback can be done with retárded trolls posting about a game they hardly played for half a day without considering both sides and if its economically possible...

1 ReplyIt's a business, they produce the game not just for funsies but to create a profit profit and make a living. As long as people are buying them then why would they stop, that really makes no sense. You don't gain an advantage from the microtransactions in the game, they are all just dance moves and cosmetics. So the argument to get rid of them really makes no sense for anybody. There's no unfairness factor involved. If there were guns and Armour involved then yeah that would be lame but I don't see anybody stopping playing the game over some shaders and dance moves

3 RepliesThe micro transactions are purely cosmetic, you can play the game and be the best player without having to buy any at all. Heck we even get free bright engrams from leveling up, you don’t need to buy any at all. Perhaps you mean no more DLC transactions?

eververse is not end game content.....it is just eye candy add ons that do nothing to the game.... remember when we was told that all cash spent in eververse would be used within a live team that then will add free game content to all of the destiny 2 gameing player base ........i choose what i do with my money and i thought yeahhh buy some ghosts....ships.....shaders ...and at the same time iam getting everyone free game content to be added by a live team.....not sure if that is happening at the momment....but no eververse is just eye candy ....

Spent yesterday 60euro for the eververse gear and only got the boods, for me that was it done with Destiny now after 3 years.

please dont buy the crap from everversum or so:) dlc is ok , but all other is more more more money for nothing or unreal clothes. buy 2 or 3 game keys for friends and family make your friends a gift .2 dlc (downloadable content) 40€ (in 6 month) is enough or not?

Microtransactions! As long as they make money they'll be in the game so STOP!... BUYING!.. THEM! Make sense? Destiny 1 came out with NO microtransactions(which is one of the reasons I got into it and not Warframe). Then they sold emotes. And people BOUGHT them. So then the came out with the masks, and people BOUGHT them. Member that? One cool blue flaming skull mask and fifteen sh#tty paper masks. So keep throwing money at the screen til you get the cool one. Why sell the cool one for $5 when you can get people to gamble and buy box after box and spend $50 or $60? One chance to win, 15 chances to lose. And people BOUGHT those. On day one you'd go to the tower and see ten or twelve friggin' morons dancing and waving and running around like the simple basterds they are. And you KNOW they didn't all get the cool blue skull in the first, second, or third box. Then came more boxes and more boxes, with boosters, and people BOUGHT 'em, and BOUGHT 'em, and BOUGHT 'em. Now with Destiny 2 Tess is main stage, unavoidable, fully intergrated sublimimal in game advertiving, and people BUY them. Yeah, it's great if we could start a movement, get people to come together, hell, get a petition and get every gamer on earth to sign it. But here's the thing if people keep buying them they're not going anywhere, and it doesn't matter how much we complain. Imagine this. You're Bungie/Activision. In one hand you hold a report showing you the millions of dollars you're making with microtransactions, in the other a petition signed by every gamer on earth with a rational argument on why players think microtransactions should be removed from games. Which one do you wipe your a$$ with? Which one you think Bungie wipes its a$$ with? STOP! BUYING! THEM!

Bungie and Activision abuses the micro transaction system too much again. Also I think the new Vex gear from Eververse should have been in the Raid Lair and there should have been new weapons in the raid lair.

Aye.. they could of put the 1000s of hours dev time behind much better rpg elements, trading, crafting, trade skills set pieces for raids, auction houses a real economy more in depth loot, chucked a monthly optional subscription, that gives you some monthly bonuses etc etc. Much better ways of keeping the money rolling in for a live game.

Do you really want to be the a-hole responsible for $90 base games because you couldn't keep yourself from buying a stupid dance emote? Video game development is getting more and more expensive. They have to get that money from somewhere, you dolt.
