Don’t nerf. Buff everything up to it. Looks great!
Edit: This is the first time in a while people are grinding hard as heck for an exotic. It shows how EXOTICS should feel. Strong and powerful. The steady stream of nerfs has turned D1, a fast paced game with single outplay potential, to D2, a team pea shooter. Stop advocating for nerfs instead of buffs. This is what’s killing the game.
Edit 2: “It’s bugged, dummy.” No duh. That’s why it’s fun to use. It reminds many of the quick time to kills in D1. Hopefully the PvE community doesn’t see this gun go down the drain because of us whiny PvP kids.

8 RepliesThe only thing it shows is how pathetic people are. You find it fun to play with a bugged wepon?, that says a lot about you.
-
2 RepliesAnyone who thinks this probably also enjoys CoD. Having kill times < 2 seconds is not good for the game. The game is great being built around teamwork. Can't wait till they fix the bug.
-
I FIGURED OUT WHAT THE BUG IS!!!!! So here’s how coldheart works in pvp, you shoot a laser, and the damage scaling doesn’t go up the longer you fire. With the lens that’s not the case, you fire and the damage ramps up to a whopping 15 before your target is removed from existence. That’s 50% more damage per tick than coldheart and than there’s the AOE which lets you kill around corners. That’s why the gun is OP, without damage increase it should do 8 (1 less than coldheart, which is justified by the AOE) constantly until one of you dies.

10 RepliesHave your fun son It'll be nerfed in a few weeks. Hopefully sooner because I played one game of crucible without it and I'm not going back in there again till I either get one or it is nerfed.
-
2 Replies0.4 seconds time to kill + does damage after opponent hides. Yeah no thanks.
-
That is called power creeo and it is just as bad.
-
It’s not being fixed yet so I won’t be buying the dlc or touching crucible until it is fixed. People using this and thinking that they are good are in fact the biggest scrubs.

Edited by What I Look Like: 12/8/2017 12:43:18 AMGrinding public events? Anything in specific? Should I bother with Milestones for a chance as well? Looking to get Crimson.
-
Dude it's way OP. Getting a team wipe before they can get you is OP.
-
This post is everything that's wrong with the community. Even though Bungie have made auto rifles super easy to use and attain players still grumble that the pvp is too hard and unfair!?!? Of course a casual player wants a gun that has a less than 1 second TTK and a range almost as good as the MIDA to stay relevant - how else would they dominate online games?
-
People are grinding because literally nothing else can compete with it in PVP. That’s an argument against it, unless you prefer an “I saw you first” PVP environment. I’m all for redeploying the “ against minions of the darkness” thing though, would make PVE more fun.

anyone that is using PL right now in pvp is scum and should bne banned andbungie is -blam!-ing -blam!- for allowing this to continue
-
3 RepliesIt was the first exotic I got since the DLC launched. Didn't know it was broken in PvP. Should try it out >:)
-
This gun is as overpowered as -blam!-. It's literally unbeatable in a one in one against it. Let's be honest here, it's going to get the shit nerrfed out of it.

50 RepliesEdited by msqar: 12/7/2017 5:48:25 PMHahahahaha feeling good killing with a broken OP weapon, all these scrubs saying the weapon is good... guys.. guys... DeeJ already confirmed the weapon will be fixed and nerfed as it should be... do you actually believe a 1 second (or less) TTK weapon would be balanced in PvP?? are you that stupid ? hahahaha any dummy can kill with that atomic bomb, not even aim to the head, melts everybody in a matter of milliseconds... a guy on my fireteam was doing triple and quad kills in 2-3 seconds, spamming that OP sh*t across the map... nah, you're right, gun is not OP. I was saying like WTF is going on with that weapon... now the problem was playing against someone with that crap, it was IMPOSSIBLE to challenge back, not even with my Old Fashioned + Kill Buff doing 81 to the head, it was impossible, when i was hitting my second shot, i was plain dead... This weapon is like a Vex Mythoclast 2.0 (from first week that could kill with 4 shots). Is like having a god damn Laser Last Word... what's fun with that? having an enormous advantage over others? Because it makes you feel powerful? That weapon is literally so easy to kill that should be considered cheating, no fun at all... prolly the people enjoying it are all low KD scrubs who can't kill without it, and now they got an OP weapon they feel they're good lmao Another thing to consider now that Destiny 2 is a noob teamshooting festival, imagine having 4 twats using that shitty overpowered weapon teamshooting.. i guess you will live for 0.20 seconds. Nice one.. not even time to response... i wasn't even able to run away from that guy, while i was sliding or blinking he would get me every single time due to the Time To Kill... ha .. ha .. ha... so enjoyable.. if i get it to drop, i won't use it... i can kill anyone with my Old Fashioned already.. don't need OP shiit.. i just hate ppl using it against me. GIT GUD, BIT*CHES.

2 RepliesI mean its good for the wrong reasons. I don't mind fast time to kills, but its killing people behind walls and it is also better than every other weapon in the game, and is also incredibly easy to use. My favorite meta from Destiny was Year 1 (As with most people), but at least with weapons like Thorn and TLW, you had to land crits to be effective with them. This monster you can basically blindfold yourself, spin in a circle and kill all 4 enemy players before they can even react. Really not looking forward to playing Trials this weekend, because whether you win or lose is completely governed by whether or not you have the gun. There is very little room for outplay because of how strong it is comparatively.

4 RepliesIts stronger than d1 exotics in peak With how awful the lag comp is, laggy players will always win gunfights Just effing no...

Edited by Rebellis: 12/7/2017 10:53:11 PMI love that Prometheus Lens is highlighting the slow mobility that D2 has (you can't escape) and the slow >1 sec TTK of most guns which has led to all the crappy team shooting scenarios and other PvP problems. IMO, it's the perfect weapon at the right time and I'm not convinced its actually "bugged". Hopefully, they don't nerf anything but instead buff mobility and lower the TTK across the board to compete. Crucible needs a change of pace.
-
I hope Xur sells it tomorrow so that everyone can enjoy it before Bung neuters it.
-
"Must have Prometheus Lens" will probably be a common requirement in many trials LFG posts.
-
I want one
-
2 RepliesYou guys are aware you can’t play without it, you can’t outgun and not it’s nothing to do with skill
-
I'm up for either nerfing it, or buffing the other stuff. It's just really unbalanced and not fun to play currently. As a guy that never has the luck of getting the op gun before it's nerfed, i hate crucible even more than usual right now.
-
2 RepliesEdited by SebaManiacPL: 12/7/2017 9:38:27 PMpeople are so dumb some of them still play this garbage hehe
-
3 RepliesI think it's cute how you kids still believe Bungie's lies when they tell you PL is broken. Ill conceived and poorly designed, perhaps...just like the rest of their sorry ass game...but not broken. That's just another excuse to hide their ineptitude behind.

For years the Bungie White Knight Defenders labeled anyone they could as "casuals" and "noobs" and "crutch" whenever we wanted weapons that kicked ass. It took a long time but now we all realize how much of shills Bungie White Knight Defenders are for doing a developer's dirty work. Bungie has slowly, with the help of these degenerate Bungie White Knight Defenders, made the game more grindy. Why?
Eververse
