Does anybody like the new titan gauntlets?
Who the hell designed the titan gauntlets for D2? Am I the only one that finds giant shoulder pieces unnatractive? You can barely put together a decent set of titan armor without looking like You have boulders or giant macaroni shells attached to your arms. Maybe it's just me. But, I think it was a bad choice (cosmetically speaking)

I miss my spliced Titan Gear from D1, D2 Titan gear (Especially the shoulder pads!) really does put me off using it haha!

Over all I prefer D2 to D1 Titan sets. The only Titan sets I liked in D1 were the Spektar and Lamentation sets with the Nexus Titan Mark and Armamentarium. Sadly the rest pretty much sucked for me. So far I like nearly every piece of all of the Titan armour sets in D2 apart from the boots and gauntlets on the Terra Concord set.

1 ReplyBefore IB the only Titan armor set in the game I actually liked was Devastation Complex, but so far only the boots have dropped for me. Hopefully I'll get lucky with IB gear drops.

I have the Optimacy helmet, shoulders & chest. I’m digging it.

I like the armor sets. The problem is that the gauntlets and chests don't blend well with pieces from other sets. Kerak looks awesome as a full set, but bring something like the Crest of Alpha Lupi, Hallowfire Heart, or a chestplate other than Kerak or Concord and it looks freakish. It's either you have the full set or you don't. Frustrating because the legs and helmets are fine blending, the gauntlets and chestpieces don't.

2 RepliesThe variety of armor overall is pretty limited. But yeah, Titan slider shoulders seem especially rough. But Devastation Complex chest with that feather boa look is good!

NO! Just finally going to comment on Titans wardrobe. If the guys hate it and think it's bulky ---then I know it's not just me as a female Titan. I hate it! as a female Titan, I don't look lady like anymore or feminine. A man must definitely be the wardrobe designer. In D1 with my two grenades (Armormentarian) (sp) I got teased, but at least I looked like a woman and am! Bungie, pls give me some less bulky, ugly looking armor. Help the lady Titan. I did buy the chest piece and raid gear not so bad...but still. Free is good too. My fav armor in D1, the IB year one armor --so sleek and complimenting. I really miss my Mohawk helmet. My warlock is good only b/c they are robes to begin with.
