Who will miss aggressive sniper play ? Who likes it? Am I the only one sad to see the state of special weapons right now and in D2. Or do you hate snipers/special weapons?

39 RepliesAgressive sniper play? You mean cheap easy no skill kills five feet from your target while getting shot in the face. Or getting a sloppy body shot and finishing them off with a HC. What a bunch of cheese. Snipers are on easy mode in Destiny. So glad they changed snipers from the ground up in D2.

2 Repliesthe over use of sniping got old after a while, i am a pretty good sniper, and i enjoy it on certain maps i dont like how destiny became everyone sniping every little hallway on every tiny shot gun map..... honestly i will miss saladins vigil more than anything, that gun is so fun to use, the main ingredient is pretty awesome though

Actually agressive sniper play will be prominate due the the lower amount that have access to snipes and/or snipe ammo.

The reason why they were nerfed. So no, I hated shooting people in the face with a hand cannon or scout with high cal. rounds and still dying. I also hated people using snipers as battle rifles and hallway heroes. Don't miss it one bit. The context of it doesn't make sense either. Snipers are heavy weight weapons and take time to adjust to. You can't just throw it up to your shoulders and magically hit things. I don't care how much skill it takes to snipe in Destiny. Aggressive and snipers don't mix.

2 RepliesI try my hardest not to get mad in PVP, but it genuinely irks me that I can be having a primary fight with someone from less than 2 in game meters then they suddenly switch to their sniper and get a head shot. Or when someone slides in from the same distance and gets a head shot as well, that doesn't make any sense.
