From D2 to D1

So I didn't have much time this past week to really PLAY the beta so last night and today I decided to get in it and get used to it. Had some fun , as much as you can playing the same map over and over , made some good plays and got the feel for it. Then I decided to go play some D1 and holy shit!! D2 was a lot more fun when it came to pvp! The grenades were everywhere , everyone was flying around , jumping , sliding , blinking . Point being is that bungie made the right calls on a lot of things with D2. I just can't understand why people are losing there shit so badly. I understand the ONE strike they gave us is boring as all hell and weapons aren't really up to par in PVE but give me a break! The game is going in the right direction Just thought I would share

  • I will say that the movement mechanics were a great source of a lot of peoples' entertainment, from what I've been able to gather, but the simple fact of the matter is that the weapons do not accommodate the swift rate(s) of motion. In D1, we move far faster than what most weapons' damage outputs are capable of combatting. Bungie doesn't want this to be a twitch shooter, where you're dead in the blink of an eye. Because of that, movement speed had to come down to match weapon efficiency.
