Before the BETA launches in 3.5 hours, I wanted to get this across to everybody. The new Sentinel subclass for the Titan looks stunning. I know that as of now, much of the community is looking to main a Sentinel Titan for the BETA and at the launch of the game on September 6th. That's okay, but I want to make sure that every body understands the purpose of the Destiny 2 BETA; To test many different components of the game and how they react to real situations. Here's a scenario for you; In the BETA, 75% of people play the Sentinel Titan for 50% of the time the BETA is active. Only 25% of people play any other subclass for 50% or more of the time. Due to the amount of BETA testers playing on a Sentinel, many bugs will be found and rid of, and the Sentinel may be nerfed for launch. Then, at launch, the Sentinel Titan has been nerfed already, and many game-breaking bugs are found in the other subclasses. Bungie would the have to devote time after launch to patch the game, resulting in less content coming from the game and an already unbalanced game. Rather, if we play all subclasses in the BETA, any bugs can be found and rid of before the launch of the game, resulting in balanced subclasses. And besides, do you really want to go into a Control match on Endless Veil and be one of eight Sentinel Titans in the lobby? Just think about the recent Iron Banner Mayhem Clash in Destiny 1. Teams of 6 Weapons Of Light Bubble Titans running Universal Remote, a high-impact Sniper Rifle, and No Backup Plans. Is this what we want of Destiny 2 or the BETA? Again, play most of the subclasses available in the BETA; It might pay off later.
P.S.- This is not a post against the Sentinel Titan, but rather one advising players to play more subclasses in the BETA.
Upvote to get awareness out?

Im grooving on the new Fist of Panic.

10 RepliesDestiny 2 is the end of Hunters. Sentinel Titans can make short or tall walls, super into Captain America, and create the Ward of Dawn we all know and love. Warlocks can create healing rifts or damage increasing rifts. Hunters can evade once every couple of minutes. Which do you want in the raid?
-
12 RepliesBut why did they destroy Titan skating
-
Funny how every sentinel in pvp I've seen struggles to get a kill with the super
-
1 ReplyAm I the only one that feels like sentinel super just has too much going for it? It can block, range and go up close all in the same super. It's like a better version of the other roaming supers.

1 ReplyWhen Captain America throws his mighty shield, All those who chose to oppose his shield must yield. If he's led to a fight and a duel is due, Then the red and the white and the blue'll come through. When Captain America throws his mighty shield!

2 RepliesI am going to go with Gunslinger first. Then maybe voidwalker. Then ArcStryder, then Striker. Then Sentinal then Dawnblade.

4 RepliesEdited by OldboyVicious: 7/19/2017 2:38:13 AMI view the classes just like the sisters I was friends with in college: I'm gonna try all 3 of them.
-
1 ReplyI spent an hour with each class and went through each available subclass. Huge fan of Gunslinger, Sentinel, and Dawnblade. Arcstrider is a good time and so is Striker. Voidwalker is kinda meh in my opinion. They all have their perks, but Titans and Warlocks are more Team and support oriented. Hunters are doing their own thing. I like the new abilities, especially the Titan's rally barrier. In combination with the Sweet Business you can fire for days. Just squat to auto reload, stand and never take your finger off the trigger.

2 RepliesEdited by Trafalgar_Lou: 7/19/2017 3:08:17 PMPlayed with all 3. Sentinel is definitely the most promising class, feels very new and very powerful. Will still be maining a hunter through, im liking acrstrider allot although a ranged ability would be sweet, even a one timer like the Titan. Played allot of Pvp with the Titan was very powerful.
-
I chose titan cause that's what I played mainly in D1. Yet I've only seen hunters everywhere. I've barely seen warlocks tho.
-
I've been playing Arc Strider today, and I was having a blast.
-
I haven't seen a lot of sentinels after playing about 40 matches. Everyone is using hunters... just like D1.
-
i play other class. All of them are good but Striker class is not same on Destiny 2... it kind of weak but it take time to get use to it... I live long as the titan...
-
1 ReplyI thought that I was gonna like gunslinger better then ark strider but ark strider is really fun to use.
-
1 ReplyIs it just me or does Titan feel much slower in this game than D1? Feel like I'm walking through mud. Die in 2 seconds to strike boss fire and can't survive it's melee AoE (why Bungie brought those back is beyond me), which makes all it's toughness almost moot. Controlled lift seems to be gone, too, and jumping feels much slower as well, so Titan skating is harder. I enjoy the additions to Titan- barricade and how the Sentinel has both the Shield AND Ward of Dawn (though I only saw Armor of Light). It just feels extremely sluggish to me. Dodging the spinning things at the end of story mission was frustrating as all hell.

It's not even that strong. I pop it, get a double, then get novad, slammed, or goldied
-
Not a huge fan of sentinel. Not a fan of the new warlock either. Poledancer is fun though.
-
But why?
-
If no one plays anything else then they can't nerf the sentinel since there's no comparison data.

3 RepliesTwas the night after beta, and everything was trash, Many had cancelled thier preorders, Bungievision's stocks, sure to crash. With eight parts nerf, and two parts lag, the playerbase agreed, Luke Smith is a "Why does arcstrider suck?" has been the cry, We all know the answer though,
Bungie lie
So the beta is garbage, and the community in tatters, but forget about that guys, it's Bungie's $$$ that matters. We've all persevered, with this dying brand, we keep feeding these trolls money, and they keep biting out hand. They fail to deliver at ever turn, yet there's still the same old sheep, saying it's my money to burn. It's not just Bungie though, the problem is MUCH broader, the answer is above
My name.
5 RepliesI'm going to start with either hunter or wArlock tomorrow Titan is my least favorite class I just don't like the way they move. I started with a wArlock so that might make opinion bias Also hunters have capes🙃 Thirdly this opinion is based of of D1 titan
-
Wow Beta is out 1 day and already the crying. We didn't learn anything in Destiny 1 did we?

I'm a warlock and play both Subclasses, except.. the Voidwalker simply sucks. There's nothing to deny about it. Unless they change it, the subclass will be ruined.
