If someone kills your Oracle, be a man and kill the next one you see
All I hear during the Atheon fight is "stop killing my oracle" and "I got third" or "let me kill the next one". Just go into the portal, kill any Oracle you see. Its not that hard.
Edit 1: Anita Sarkeesian will probably throw a fit that I am calling people to man up. So be a woman too if that fits your gender...

6 Repliesits not that hard. did my first atheon/vog challenge this weekend with no mic. i learned it on the fly and honestly it wasnt that hard. just pay attention, listen and react as needed. sadly no one wants to take a micless guardian on a fresh vog raid lol.

5 Repliesalso, if you need to be cleansed, say it once and where you are at, it doesn't help me and it actually makes me not want to cleanse you when your just sitting there spazing out yelling, "CLEANSE ME! I NEED A CLEANSE, I CANT SEE ANYTHING, SOMEONE CLEANSE ME!"

Edited by Mar: 5/8/2017 7:40:44 PMway i've seen it, which granted isn't much (don't spam the challenges every week like others), it is by far easiest to have 1 guy stand outside and say "i'll get the last one", beyond that, the 3 that get teleported in get dibs on 1st 2nd and w/e the relic holder wants, after that its fair game. what i am totally confused and baffled about, and have seen the most trouble with, is that for w /e reason PEOPLE WILL NOT LEAVE THE FREAKING PORTAL AFTER KILLING A ORACLE! i do not get it. the relic holder should be the ONLY ONE sitting there to throw up a cleanse for people as they leave... why on this earth you would kill your oracle, especially if you are one of the 1st 3 in, and then sit there waiting for the last oracle to go down BEFORE you go outside is beyond me. people seem to forget that the 6th guy cannot go in to kill the oracle if no one is outside...

Communication and call outs. I joke around and say "guys all you need to do is be able to count to six". Things still go wrong. I just go with it now. The glitches are real as well. "How did you die!?" "THE... architects? What?" My favorite is after a wipe. Rage sets in and some one screams "OKAY! WHO DIDN'T SHOT THERE ORACLE!?" Kill feed: 2 oracles destroyed by all players. Silence fills head set. I always yell, "Welcome to the Vault if Glass -blam!-ers!". It's just this thing I do. I'm not proud of it.

It still baffles me that people open wrong portals. You don't need a call out when your minimap clearly shows where your teammates are. As for oracles just see if your name pops up, if not keep shooting. We have oracle disruptor for a reason.

The only person that gets dips on a oracle is the relic holder. Group should decide what number that person is taking other than that shoot them till you see your name pop up then get the hell out of there

We only call first oracle then tell ppl start coning in. Never had the issue you're describing

If someone is shooting at an oracle do NOT shoot at the same one. That's dumb and will cause wipes. Communication is key. You should never have the oracles out of order. The only exception that I've seen is when the relic holder is sky slamming a minotaur and accidently destroys the 2nd oracle

This. So many whiney adults. People act like they're paying silver for each bullet or something. Newsflash! It's actually safer inside the teleport were there are no harpies. People should be happy to stay inside.

4 RepliesYeah, you can always tell the nubs in the fireteam by who actually is trying to call dibs on specific oracles. Just shoot the furthest one from the portal until you actually kill one. The kill feed is your friend, people.

Edited by TheArtist: 5/8/2017 6:53:10 PMThis is always a problem with LFG reams. Easiest solution. 1. Don't shoot at an Oracle if you see someone already shooting at it. Just move to the next one. 2. Repeat until you get confirmation that you've destroyed an Oracle on your kill-feed. Sometimes someone can be shooting at an Oracle along with you....and you can't see their fire on your screen. But its best if you can clearly assign Oracles.
