Crusades
Has anybody else noticed how the solar system seems to be jeruselum in the war on darkness, and the darkness is the crusaders?
Is this a correct assumption or not

I've been mentioning this to friends for a while, and now I'm thoroughly convinced. Though not 100% accurate, there are a lot of main themes and with the release of the new trailer of the Cabal taking the city? I think it's truly the start of the crusades. Charlemagne is the warmind of mars theoretically correct? If the Cabal represent the Romans, then potentially this threat that invaded the city may have happened due to interference by the warmind. When you consider the fact that he also potentially has memory fragments scattered around, you could consider those as charlemagne's sons. There's a strike where the cabal are trying to break into a core fragment. The Mind Flayers. It could be that the core was trying to rebel against charlemagne and the cabal. Considering charlemagne had a son that did this, and that the uprising was in greece, you could see it as the fragment potentially trying to rally the vex against the cabal. Since the vex and the cabal are fighting in that strike it at the very least seems likely. The vex would represent greece as they are named after greek mythos creatures. Charlemagne created the Holy Roman empire, and started the crusades. We may very well be the muslims, especially seeing as Saladin is the name of a notable muslim leader. One that liberated jerusalem. tl;dr Yes I think there's a lot of things that are similar to the crusades.

It is not. Our solar system means nothing to the Darkness at all. We could move to a different solar system and it'd chase us there. It wants the light gone.
