Hey there PvP community! One question fo' ya.
Do you guys have to sweat your butts off EVERY SINGLE TIME you enter the PvP arena?? Would it KILL you to run anything besides Matador/Palindrome/Eyesluna??
In all seriousness guys let me know below, do you ever get bored running the same loadouts over and over and over again?
P.S. respect to all you fusion rifle-rs out there

EDIT: I can totally understand you guys wanting to play to win, especially for trials. Here's a follow up question - do you mix it up in control, clash, etc.? It's not like you have to win in those playlists, I play those to have fun rather than win.

You see with titanfall and battlefield 1 there is a meta but even if you go against it you will have loads of fun and it won't be a massive handicap. Destiny's meta does not give you any alternatives or if you do find some it is very hard to overcome those who use the meta.

The game gives me incredible PvP rolls on weapons even though I don't really enjoy PvP. I use them to get my quest or bounty done and get out.

I never use hand cannons nor shotguns. I did use thorn year one. But haven't touched a hand cannon since. I rock fusions, and swap between pulses and autos for primaries. I'll use scouts on big outdoor maps.

That's a hard one to answer. Here is why U load up the game and think right pvp I pulling out the vex or some other year 1 or 2 gun. U get wrecked by the meta u lose some games get mad and instantly go back to clever dragon and matador. U see where no one is tring any thing else the only way to go is the meta. Losing isn't fun.

I never get bored of winning. Though I do get VERY bored of losing, and getting outgunned. The problem here isn't people RUNNING the meta. The problem is that Bungie has failed to BALANCE the sandbox, and so the range of weapns that are competitive is so narrow. ...and I one of the original voopers. ...and I run with FRs on more open maps because they work in shutting down the apes that love to just run at you with shotguns.

I do my best to never run a matador and I have a penchant for trying to win rumble matches using nothing other than my primary weapon.

I usually use a monte Carlo and a shotty, but lately I've been making myself use a waltz to get better with pulse rifles, since that's the only way to win most gun fights.

My load outs: -Hunter Bladedancer: Lingering Song (IB handcannon) or a MIDA, and a Saladin's Vigil. Gunslinger: I use The First Curse and my LDR. First Curse plus Throwing Knives are a great way to counter shotty. -Titan Defender: Fun Police. The Chaperone and everything. PS: I have a mapador for trials if I must pull it out but I don't like to.

Sort of yeah, but i never use shotguns.. and last night i ran a mix of Cryptic Dragon/Red death + fusion rifle.

Git gud and stop whining. If you're not playing to win, what do you play for? Mediocrity? Is it fun to lose all the time? And WTF are you talking about? I see all kinds of weapons in PvP. Sounds like you suck against HCs and shotties. That's a you problem.

Edit: Not the loadout part, but the sweatness stuff. During my IB sessions, I switch different weapons (bar shotguns and snipers cus I suck at using them) to make things fun. Depending on what maps I'm going in. I don't switch heavy weapons too much though. (Since I often die before using them lol)
