I Decoded Bungie's weekly update....

We have learned from our mistakes and we are finally going to try and balance this game. This might take some time so please be patient. We never actually tried to balance before, cause we always just nerfed everything into the ground and called it a day. We are actually using our brains to try and figure out how to balance this game. We finally realized that when we made our first nerf, we started a nerf train. This train would never stop until we actually sit down and really figure this out. We admit it...we took the easy way out, hit the "easy button" every time and we apologize. Again, this is going to take some time so please be patient cause we really messed up this game with nerf after nerf after nerf after nerf after nerf after nerf after nerf after nerf after nerf. We even scrapped crimson doubles cause we are focusing all our efforts to finally balance this game. Anyways, no one liked that event...let's be honest. Edit 1. We tried to make autos balanced...we gave them a huge .04% buff. *sorry I had to edit this in lol! Edit 2. Destiny PVP is awesome, even without balance. Imagine if they actually figured out that nerfing everything into the ground is bad and they actually balance or try to balance pvp. This game will be amazing if it's balanced, or closer to balanced. Edit 3- I don't believe shotguns are op either. About a year or so ago, Primary weapons got nerfed hard. Later on, flinch was added to snipers and sometime in between those nerfs more evasive abilities like shadestep, evade (twilight garrison), and bones of eao were introduced. This gave players more ways to outsmart/out maneuver in close quarters, and close distance easier without taking much damage. Players got really good with their speed and maneuverability and on top of that shoulder charge got nerfed and players found out that Juggernaut shield was insanely good. To conclude- Shotguns aren't op...the speed, maneuverability, and evasive abilities make it easier to close distance and outsmart/outplay in close quarters combat. Shotgun damage, most weapons really, just feel inconsistent. Sometimes I even hit for 0 damage. Ever since the weapons damage, range, accuracy, ammo, perks got nerfed weapons don't really feel crisp. On top of that SBMM was introduced and latency/lag increased making it even worse. Edit 4- I swear I remember the devs saying that they specifically want each weapon to have its moment to shine. I read this like 2 years ago. That is the stupidest thing I ever read besides the .04 % buff for autos, when they said they made a mistake and put the decimal point in the wrong spot. But why don't the devs want balance. Every other PVP game strives for balance but destiny doesn't even want balance. It's so frustrating.
