Hello, my name is Matt, and I've been playing Destiny since year 1. I've never cheated, never used an exploit in a competitive match to win, and majority of the time if my connection is bad, I leave so to not ruin other players experiences. There are exceptions, like I didn't notice my connection was bad. Nonetheless, I feel like cheating is a waste of time in a game like Destiny. If we won everytime or got handed everything in the first week of gameplay, this game would be dead in a months time. I've gathered you here today, to expose some serious cheaters. I can't drop names, as per the code of conduct. I can however, explain what happened, and point you in the direction of my xbox live profile and watch some short clips of these cheaters at work. Never, and I mean never have I seen something like this in Destiny. I've been Ddos'd, and actually found out a random teammate was doing it in a match once and immediately left. Anyway, on to the story........... I had to complete 3 matches of Rift to finish up my Shaxx bounty on my warlock, and then a few friends and I were off to finish up a WotM heroic run. We fired up Rift. First game went very well, very close match and everyone had solid connections. Really great game (Rift is incredibly fun with a fireteam). Next match, we load in and I immediately check the roster and notice there's 2 red bars in the game. Great, can't wait to deal with this. Anyway, we set up shop (on Bannerfall) and start taking out enemies and wait on the spark to show up. Spark shows up, I run over to get it, not a single enemy on my radar. Somehow, the enemy grabbed the spark. I stop and ask my friends, was there another guy on the spark? They all said no, there was no one around. Literally, there wasn't a blip on the radar at all. So me thinking, well, maybe I missed an invisible blade dancer or something, cost us a rift ignition. Feeling stupid, that I possibly stood right next to an enemy player who ninja swiped the spark from me, my team set up again and we wait on the spark. Now, I made sure to toss a grenade on the spark this time. No hit markers. I start collecting the spark, and have 3 teammates close by watching. Guess what happened!? The enemy got the spark again!!!!!!!! I asked again, was there an enemy player there? I'm starting to think at this point, there is some really funky stuff going on. I decided to let my friend and teammate go for the spark this time, and I'd run offense, as I had a Nova Bomb up, and a fully stocked Matador along with a charged melee and grenade. Spark shows up, and low and behold, they clear a few enemies, run up to grab the spark, and the enemy has the spark AGAIN!!!!!!!!! At this point I'm beyond frustrated. I open the roster and see 2 guys on the opposing team that are red bar, and one of them has 3 rift ignitions in the span of about 1.5-2 minutes. Again, check my profile and watch my most recent clip and a few others prior to that on Bannerfall. The Gamer Tags are clearly highlighted, and you can see this cheating in action. The guys didn't even show up on the map, or in game. They were literally invisible to all the other players on our team. We left that match, but not before I could get some solid evidence and bring it to the table. Hopefully one of the admins here will actually watch the clips, or others will and help me either expose this madness, or help me understand exactly what happened here. The Crucible is already in a very mixed review state right now and this doesn't help. These guys can't and shouldn't be allowed to play like this. Not only does it make me feel like they almost zero integrity or character (although I suppose there may be a legitimate reason, but highly unlikely), but Destiny has been my go-to game for almost 3 years.
