Isn't being able to purchase any Ornament directly something people have requested for a long time? I also thought Bungie said they'd cost Silver Dust from the Kiosk.

And most of them are very trash, or add an effect so subtle, you wonder wtf was the point. Bungie are the worst.

When do they actually give us new kiosks? Festival of the Lost for masks and The Dawning for silverdust because both of them are directly linked to microtransactions. Buying radiant treasures cost real money, so silverdust = money. I haven't played much lately but pretty sure you get one silver treasure a week.

All Bungie did was create a way to get the ornament you want without having to rely on RNG so much. It's an improvement, regardless of your hatred for microtransactions. Pretty sure armor kiosks for old raid items would be plagued with issues, so I understand it not existing yet. They'd have to remove radiant/ascendant materials from dismantling the items to prevent infinite motes, which in turn makes it more difficult to level the gear.

What are u talking about. It's 5 dust. and there's no way to buy an ornament you want, unless xur is selling the exact one. And you still cant buy days of iron ornaments...read bungies answer why... oh, there is none, but theres a picture of a middle finger and a smiling emoji on the wall. Go figure.

All Bungie did was create a new storefront for microtransactions. They are not going to invest into the the quality of life for players unless there's a return through microtransactions. It's doesn't matter how much excuses people make for them. The pattern has been established.

This thread is brilliant!! I'm not a bungie fan boy by any stretch, but it comes to something when you have someone whining about getting free stuff then using the "rng sucks, we should be able to buy the ornaments we want" argument. Can you just imagine what this game would be like if everyone was [i]given[/i] every weapon, armour or ornament from the get go? People complain [i]now[/i] that there's nothing to do. That's after over 2 years! Why would you even play after the first week??

Man i could not agree more. Gaming has become a shame. I remember playing old games ( im in my 30's) and the tech was so much slower, no comparison to now. Yet i felt more attachment to the characters from zelda, secret of mana, chronno trigger, metroid so on and so on. Halo was great snd bungie has really fallen far from that. Truly dissapoints me. So many great characters in halo universe, destiny has the potential too snd yet it is not even close. I cant really put my finger on it but you are correct in saying soul less. Maybe it feels soul less because we know deep inside we are getting robbed lol.
