Yesterday, I accidentally applied my flawless ornament on my Trials boots. Before that, I had to use my Nemesis Star as infusion fuel, despite having an ornament on it. I lost my ornament on my Nemesis Star. Why should I have to lose it? This is a bad design decision on Bungie's part. We should be able to apply ornaments at will, and we should be able to reacquire ornaments when dismantling gear that have an ornament applied. I think that , for exotics, in order to balance it, we should still have to pay Silver Dust to re-apply that ornament. We should also only get our ornaments back ONLY when dismantling the item with the ornament. Un-applying the ornament should NOT give it back to you. Bump to get Bungie's attention! EDIT: I just don't see why we can't get ornaments back. What is the reason? Is it because of the Days of Iron ornaments? Because of Eververse? I am actually starting to think that the reason we can't get ornaments back by dismantling items is because of DoI ornaments, and how they are basically locked behind a paywall. BUT WAIT. It does not matter whether or not the DoI ornaments are permanent or not. If fact, it gives less reason to try to get the ornaments through Eververse.
