Was going to buy some silver for festival of the lost til I watched this.
Ok, so I'm mostly on board with eververse and why it's there. Only cosmetic, need it to keep the lights on and do fun things like srl and the current event, yes. I agree.
However, for players to be willing to make these purchases, rng imho should be more heavily weighted towards items you don't have, or better yet, gone. In game drops is one thing, but watching someone drop $50 (just $10 shy of the cost of Destiny: the collection) and get hosed by drops makes me not want to buy silver at all.
In short, if Bungie is going to offer these things, they need to respect my money.
I might be wrong here, but I think better or guaranteed payoff from treasures of the lost would get more players like myself who are on the fence to drop a bit of coin here and there. It might even be overall more profitable if it takes less money to get everything if that means more players are buying. But what do I know?

I also saved up boxes from weekly events... guess which ones gave better drops... this is -blam!-ing greasy bungie you greasy shit -blam!-s... the only reason I stay around is because this game is unique. They second another company makes a game like Destiny, and if it is remotely better I am outta herererererer.

34 RepliesIf you are paying money for cosmetic $h!t to impress others in the game, save your money because real players aren't impressed. We know you spent money and didn't earn it in by raiding, doing Trials, etc. If you are paying money for cosmetic $h!t to impress yourself, because well, it's just fun to you. Why not just go play Sims or Animal Crossing or something. Honestly, there are enough problems with this game (lack of vault space, lack of content, leveling, etc.) to be worried about the makeup counter.

I put in £8 on xb1 and got the Aksis, Revenant and Siva masks, a couple of the sleepless gaze and a couple of the spawn animations (1 each whim of Rahool and crawl of creeps). Dunno if that could be termed a good haul by anyone but all I'd wanted was either of the ghosts. Might do the same on ps4 and see what drops there

They should increase the chances of dropping the items you dont have the more you spend I only bought two boxes and i got the ghost ghost so im good

That was ugly. I guess I got lucky. I Spent $20.00 and got ghost ghost, the sparrow and one of the JuJu Ornaments. Too bad I never use bad juju.

6 RepliesI noticed the fire wolf mask doesn't drop untill u buy like 30 treasure boxes which is bs. A bunch of youtubers spend like 60 or 80 dls just to get the mask. I feel like a dumbass for having spend 30 dls and i didn't even get a ghost or the fire wolf mask which really sucks. Bungie is really screwing people over with this
