Make Armor Telemetry a thing.
I'm just doing hard mode, a new piece of armor drops, I sink the only 16 motes of light I have into it and it goes up less than a quarter of the way.
With a telemetry I'd be good to go.

You only have 16 motes? Either you don't play enough or you have no idea how to ration consumables. With that said armor telemetries would be nice lol.

3 RepliesI've been thinking this for a while also. The worst was back in the VOG days and trying to level a piece up to actually gain light level and it felt like it took forever, even with bounties.

2 RepliesWould this be nice? Yes. Does it need to happen? No. Honestly if you have at least 20 motes which you can get in like 4 hours if you play alot and upgrading raid armor takes at least 30 motes just play at least 2 hours a day and you should get 10 motes

Lol, but that is the last true surviving aspect of Y1 grind!!! However, we have since industrialized, and would welcome the change.

They need to bring back radiant light for completing the nightfall...made armor so much easier to upgrade

And we used to go on farming runs in FIRETEAMS because it took hrs and was boring AF. Now your saying motes just clog up the game? They've all but given you a fully upgraded, ready to use weapons/Armor

Them exotic armors take FOREVER to level up just from doing bounties. I agree with the notion of adding armor telemetry.

3 RepliesIt actually doesn't make sense that they force tedium on you for upgrading armor. Seems... pointless. But then again, Destiny seems to have a tedium issue with many of its quests (I'm struggling with the endless tedium of the exotic sword materials, so, basically I'm not surprised trying to upgrade armor is tedious; clearly Bungie has someone on the quest team who isn't very happy in real life, and is trying to pass that along to the players).

For me whenever I upgrade weapons I also upgrade gear pretty fast so I don't see a problem with it
