Bring it back the icebreaker but in a quest like the G-horn
Bring the icebreaker back in year 3 but with like a quest like u did with the G-horn in year 3

I want exotic quests for the pocket infinity, Vex mythoclast and the nechrochasm as well. Just like we had with the touch of malice and outbreak prime.

2 RepliesAt this point Bungie couldn't bring it back. The main reason for that is they're poor mechanics. But if they did they would do what they do best. Nerf it, and knowing that there is no reason for it to come back.

Won't happen because of PvP, mostly Trials. Another example of why combining the PvE and PvP was a horrible idea.

I think icebreaker in pvp would help weapon balance. You know, there is shotgun warriors running around and there isn't much reliable way to counter them. If icebreaker comes back, it will one shot that f#%king shotgun warriors that try to come close, though trespassers might be better. Anyway, icebreaker can become a part of a meta and will be a good way to balance some meta out.

1 ReplyD2 will start from scratch so I forsee every exotic being systematically released until D2 is out. The concern for balancing will be less considering Destiny will be replaced by the sequel in its entirity.

1 ReplyNot sure how they would pull it off given there isn't necessarily any lore to build off of for Icebreaker. Making a quest to forge a Gjallarhorn made sense because the original ones in Year One were forged using the armor of fallen Guardians and it made total sense to hunt down the Wolf Heads in the Plaguelands to make it. They better have a damn good quest for it if they go for that route.

1 ReplyIf it does come back give it a 1 minute timer. When it goes to 1 minute, it blows up. Switching out makes the timer go back to 0 from whenever you switch. Say switch at 30secs, 10 secs later and at 20. Would be ok.

I agree...i want to pay again for an already nerfed to hell gun thats lost its exotic feel and status. While were at it...can we pay for more unplayable areas at the tower and on the earth, moon and dreadnaught!? Oh yeah...ill gladly pay for more ghost bullets too! [spoiler]YACK!![/spoiler]
