Can Bungie buff Sunbreakers?

My post have been deletet because it was offending... Something/someone. I'm sorry :( really didn't mean to. Ok so Sunbreaker needs buff. Bungie said that they want to give people options, so one thing won't dominate above others. Unfortunetly sunbreaker IS dominated by other classes now. No reason to chose it instead of Striker, because sunbreaker isn't that good anymore. Here's idea and i bet some of you won't like it: Sunbreaker's main problem was his sniper rifle forehead shot tanking so no damage resistance buff (it was supposed to be tanky class so it was ok but ppl dont like it okay). I would like to have more energy with hammers, so Forgemaster wouldnt be only choice on Hammer of Sol, also it definetly would be cool to have way more Suncharges. To be honest Suncharge is worse Peregrine Shoulder Charge and it should be better than shoulder charge because it is super so it's limited to use for period of time and needs recharge. Shoulder charge however is overused a bit and needs no super so it would be nice if Suncharge would deal way more damage than peregrine strike in pve (pvp is fine for suncharge but energy drains too fast). Tell me what you think, maybe you got any ideas? Sorry for offending post again :( Gimme you thoughts!

  • I agree sunbreaker needs a buff , more hammers or make it easier to land your hammers they are slow as shit and have a very small bast radius ~Hunter main

      Sunbreakers are fine as they are and are actually quite good in 6v6. But maybe some more hammers would be nice

            I think sunbreakers are fine right now - have been seeing people do pretty well with them. Not like blade dancers, I don't even like them on my team because they die so easily.

[b]Idea #2[/b] Buff Fleet Fire to apply Battle Runner when passing through Thermites & Sunspots. [b]Idea #3[/b] Buff Cauterize to remove backfire penalty for all Grenades. [b]Idea #4[/b] Buff Simmering Flames to provide overshield when cast with full Grenade/Melee, but consume the energy. [b]Idea #5[/b] Give Suncharge built-in Encore, or at least consume less energy for kill.                 Actually I do just fine on my Sunbreaker. The hammers hit detection has been fixed, you just need to be more accurate with them and it's only fair.

                • Sunbreakers do not need a buff. If you are complaining it's probably because everyone bests your hammer. Here are some tips. Learn to use it very well. I was terrible with my stormcaller at first. Literally the first 15 times I supered in crucible, I got gunned down. Pop your super under cover, not under fire. A fully upgraded class works better than one with a few nodes unlocked. The difference is astoundingly steep. If you're dying quickly a lot, and have been using sunbreaker for a long time, then think of this. You are a tank in the middle of battle loading in 6 shells to be fired in a semi-auto fashion, and you beef yourself up with armor, leave napalm everywhere, gain extra armor inside your napalm puddles. Everyone turns their attention to you to end you. You are the most dangerous object on the field. To top it off, you have a long range attack only. Throw those hammers with hail Mary's! And if ADHD_Blacksmith keeps dropping your super like a fly with the black spindle, that's his job, he worked hard to get there, that's the only reason he plays crucible. To kill sunbreakers in one shot. With a Rifle. Sorry, I gotta keep those videos rolling in. I know you're gonna be pissed, because when I hear that hammer, I don't run away, I run towards. And I've missed only a few sunbreakers.

                  • I don't know how you can ask for a buff the armor is ridiculous already, you can skate for speed you have tracking and multiple options to keep you alive. Keep in mind the AoE damage is also big. Like combustion for GG.

                    • Buff flame seeker so it actually tracks/ cauterize 3sec to 1.50 sec or 2 sec/ blast radius increased by 12 %/ damage reduction increase by 5-6% because it had the most damage reduction out of all the supers now to less damage reduction out of all the supers it was 55% but the December update made it to 46% it was decreased by 9.09% /hammer travel speed increased by 5%/ buff thermite grenade to be more viable/ added back 1+ recovery on flame seeker perk/

                      • Also i want to say that in stats Sumbreaker may be polular, but the reason is that people like this subclass and are taking it cuz they want to use it but Striker is only choice if you want to go god-killing machine mode, sunbreaker's not an option Its just a good memory :(
