You are correct about those technicolor modems. I actually work as an engineer for TWC and we have had multiple related issues with these modems. But still... this is affecting 100's of thousands of people and it is Unbearable.. I do port forward with a 300mbps down speed and I still get errors....no Nat issues. What is going on!!!!!??
