I can't believe there are people this abysmal in terms of behaviour, especially over a video game. I hope this serves as a good reminder that you cant say anything you want on the Intetnet and get away with it. Other than that an interesting read.
Edit: more detail on this is on Polygon for those interested (link below)

1 ReplyThe article says he has "mental health issues". I wonder if the guy's lawyer(s) gonna go for the insanity plea.
-
1 ReplyOn one hand, the guy is an asshole for giving death threats On the other hand, people need to learn to not be such pussies because if some random person threatens you over the internet it doesnt mean shit and you shouldnt let it bother you, as you will most likely never see or hear from that person again.

Intetnet.
-
Holy crap... People still play Heroes of the Storm!?

3 RepliesI agree with blizzard on this completely, people who hide behind a computer screen sending hateful messages or death threats should at a minimum be completely banned from social gaming and in some cases should be locked up. Just because you are not face to face with someone doesn't make them any less of a person, and certainly doesn't give you leave to treat them like dirt. I am constantly astounded by the complete lack of regard for other people shown on these toxic forums.

Good. Maybe now if anyone else gets the slightest notion to do the same thing, maybe they'll think twice.

35 RepliesCan't we just execute him and move on with our day? Why does this nut job get to mentally scar people with death threats and then have free medical care, apartment, and food for a few years? I don't care what mental issues he has. Mental issues should be a reason to push for the death penalty, not a reason against it.
-
1 ReplySome people I think are socially inept. Like this guy giving death threats.

2 RepliesHotS can get pretty tense...

4 RepliesDumbass. Deserves to either rot in jail or be banned from gaming.

1 ReplyBump please? Phones gonna die

Good, it's another one of those issues that's got way out of hand. Idiots like that ruin things for the rest of us. I'm glad companies are finally coming down on all that shit. People should be able to enjoy their games without having to put up with other peoples bullshit and they certainly shouldn't have to cope with death threats.
-
You're suppose to send them anonymously. The guy is an idiot for doing it on Facebook.
-
2 RepliesIf he is being tried that must mean he old enough to have a job and actually contribute to society not trying to kill gaming industry employees
-
8 RepliesEdited by Psychic Donuts: 7/22/2016 9:44:24 PMAs in serious death threats or just "kill yourself" in the chat? I get it is a dark humor joke but that's the internet for you.

Bet he was black.
Sorry, that's just social media on the brain.
-
he's a gamer, so the mental health issues are understandable, but death threats today are a big NO NO!!
-
1 ReplyI guess you either weren't around or aware of back when Vonderhaar (however you spell it) was recieving death threats for when they nerfed Quickscoping in BO2? (I think it was that one)
-
1 ReplyGood, no one should ever recieve a threat over a damn video game.
