Whats your favourite weapon type/combat style in Skyrim?

One hand and with nothing in the left hand.

Sword n' board. Or paladin so just grab the scimitar early and slap your upgrade points on the first of OH, bow and light armour and then mix it up from there.

Warhammer. Smash everything. If something can't be smashed, smash harder.

Master destruction spells along with various useful spells and shouts. Become ethereal was fun and of course fus ro dah for everything

I'd say one handed with a spell because it's the one that offers the most unique gameplay experience.

3 RepliesDepends. Sneaking is so good it's hard not to Sneak with every class. I do like the two-handed broadsword decapitation animations the most of any though, and the unarmed beatdowns.

Dual wield magic. Honestly it's the first time in the series that using only magic felt good imo. It takes a while for magic to be good but late-game its godly. I just wish the spell variety from older games was there.

Best of botah worlds: Mele and magic. An Axe in one hand and firebolt in the other one. Keep the bows for range kills

Sword and Shield for close range fighting. Bow and arrow for long range stealth kills.

Stealth Bow Stealth dagger Duel magic Whatever I can't instant kill from a headshot or backstab I duel wield fireball with infinite mana.

No matter what class I play I always end up using a one handed sword while using destruction magic along with healing.

Greatswords, low equip weight, lots of rolls

Nightingale- Single Dagger and a bow Companion- Dual wield Sword

Basically a Wood Elf version of Legolas... dual weild swords and bow... or... Redguard version or Riddick, duel wield daggers and complete stealth.

Bow and Blade of Woe for slitting throats.

Sneaky assassin playstyle and full on heavy armoured greatsword/ longsword/ shield
