This is a question for all my voidwalker brothers (and sisters) out there... As of now, referring to our "vampire grenadier" abilities, which do you prefer? Armor for that extra second or chance of surviving (this is assuming your using Nothing Manacles and NOT The Ram) or do you prefer agility to give your blink an extra boost or even just to duck and run with fly-by grenades? Do you go so far as to use surge to transform into a speed demon?
This is with crucible in mind only, ignoring all PVE.
I ask because myself and a friend both play voidwalker..... A LOT. Yet, he runs all the armor he can get and I run all the agility I can get. He out performs me and Idk if it's the armor, or just shear skill difference.
Lastly, can anyone tell me what the class HP numbers are currently.

I run recovery, and focus on boosting my agility
-
I max recovery, but maybe I'll try armour and agility.

Agility, usually, but it's preference to playstyle. Play enough with burns/skulls in pve (or even pvp, headshots are brutal) armor don't mean jack in my opinion, at least with higher agility you can move faster and jump higher/farther.

I spec for armor and agility with mid tier recovery.

1 ReplyArmor i use nothing manicles and grenades can chance kill you still and blink dorsnt need an extra boost if u use it like this : sprint, jump, start falling a littl, BLINK, and ur forward an extra 10 m and still sprinting and disorients your enemies

I use surge all the time. I feel like the flash.

Max armor. I find it to be a pain switching from pvp to pve stats all the time, so I just keep max armor.

5 RepliesVoidwalker has the lowest health of all classes at 185 with full armour I think it goes 200 and full armour and ran I think 210 , but have over 100 days as voidwalker and I always benefited from full armour, but I think it comes down to preference

I run armor but I like to be fast ( without blink ) but sometimes I switch it up and do max agility

1 ReplyIt depends on what I'm running. If I'm using NM, then armor and I'll probably run Life Steal just to get me out of a weird situation. I probably won't be rushing too much either. If I'm using the Ram, then I'll run agility since the Ram is giving me a little armor back. I'll also change up the melee since I it's giving me Life Steal every three seconds (usually Soul Rip takes over). This is generally what I'll use if I'm rushing. Maps will determine my game play. Smaller maps, faster game play.

2 RepliesI run high agility. But you can also put on the ram for extra armor. I like running quickly. I used to run high armor, and I sometimes do when I wear ram if the enemy is using shoulder charge, but now that I'm a lot better at identifying when I need to run, I've realized the importance of a high agility build.

Ewww blink. Max agility and focus burst ftw.

I always favor armor > recovery > agility except for blade dancer.

1 Replychaos...pure chaos
Go max agility you wont regret it.
Max armor and recovery.

I run armor, but I haven't tested it in pvp.

Agility all day, everyday.

3 RepliesEdited by Nightstalker: 6/22/2016 6:49:02 PMI always run agility. Reasoning: I mainly use my guns. Primary and secondary. After watching some csgo vids, i tried implementing gun play strats to destiny. They work. If i can strafe and flinch you making you miss even more, you'll most likely lose. I also shotgun, so if i can move faster than you, ill get in oneshot range faster than you can normally react, and make you miss a few pellets or even make you whiff the entire shot.
