7 RepliesWell, no kidding. People think there's one gun they have to use, because some dude keeps killing them over and over with it, in a game. Then they call it over powered, and call for nerfs because they're frustrated because they can't do any better when they try using the gun, all the while hoping they'll magically become elite. Doctrine, or grasp? I don't care for either one personally, and I don't think either are all that great.

Here's my theory. I'm not greatly impressed with GoM. If I'm honest , other than the slightly faster rof it's not great and there are better pulse rifles. However. Right now [i]everyone[/i] is using them due to the nightfall farming. If everyone is using them in pvp it stands to reason that you are going to get killed a lot by GoM. Doesn't make it op. If everyone started using imago loop the forums will be filled with complaints about them too. Use whatever gun you want, seriously.

11 RepliesConsidering only 3 people in the community had a Grasp of Malok before Tuesday and it being the first Omnigul Nightfall since Year One may have something to do with it... Also, the Strike is so exploitable... On top of getting Grasp of Maloks, people should now never have to worry about getting 335 Primaries between now and Rise of Iron. Finally, Grasp is very good in PvE too.

2 RepliesI was using GoM a long time ago. It's great for certain situations but it's not the best. With everyone getting one now, it's a fun weapon to use so I assume it will have its time. Definitely doesn't need a nerf or it would be impossible to use.

Edited by Endless: 6/21/2016 6:08:06 AMgrasp sucks, i still use my doctrine and i aim for the face unlike 100% of this community that whined about dying from it on the forums. this game is truly at a sad state today and pvp is currently unbalaned and bad, it was semi-balanced and good until last week. now trials cancelled, banner, cancelled, nightfall pulled 8 hours from reset...I cant find one reason to play this week and if the trials map is ass again then i probably wont even bother till the fall. gg bungie well played

My grasp was pretty mediocre and I've been using it a while because it looks cool. I didn't know it was so great until the nightfall. I didn't bother grinding for a god-roll because I don't care to be honest. I hope my grasp makes someone out there a little salty.

Was it really that rare before? I got mine a couple months back on my first go. (I've played the strike before, but that was the first time I was willing to grind for it).

I had a shit roll grasp of malok for months and use it all the time, thanks to the nightfall I now have ever an amazing roll and will continue to use it.

That's like our soldiers complaining about all of our previous enemies in the middle east or in Vietnam using the ak47. Our country use the m16 or m4, all the same. But for some reason what's common place and not even noticeable irl is annoying af in a game. Weird. I haven't even bothered to get it... no full auto. Lol
