The creature moves back into the shadows, four more take charges, each one swerving in many directions. One eventually bites his left side, another the hand he held his explosive in, and the last two make opposite dashes for the throat.

The creature that bit his side smashed it's teeth against his armored coat and plated under armor, but the force may have broken or cracked a rib. He slashed its torso with his cutlass. He stabbed the cutlass into the dog biting his arm sideways immediately after and dropped to perform a backwards side roll while holding the cutlass beheading it in the process. The two leaped over him and he tossed his last grenado and quickly pulled his plasma flintlock before shooting the grenade between the two canine machines. "Damn mutts", he said clenching his side and picking up his cutlass.

The four take a lethal amount of damage, yet they merely stagger and begin to regenerate. Soon, they reform to their old state. The four retread back the shadows and nearly fourteen more take their place. This were nowhere near the threat as the other things Hydell had faced. These were special...

"Yeah I know- time to improvise", he said as he appeared to motion back towards the wall. "Sorry Captain, but I don't plan on dying in this twisted universe", he said as he used his overcharged plasma flintlock to fire a hole in the wall of the ship puncturing it and leaving a hole into deep space. Hydell dove out of the hole getting sucked into the vacuum of space. His suit however could withstand the environment, adapting to the climate, pressure, and effect. His ship flew by too quick for anything to latch on, but his mag boots latched onto the ship. "Scan those things- how the hell can they self repair that quickly"?!?!

The strange wolves, seemingly magnetic as well, climb onto the exterior of the craft. They howl in eerie unison as a gunship flies past, firing away at the Velvet Moth. A large rail gun shot only barely misses Hydell's ship as The Velvet Moth retaliates. It fires off more cylinders, no doubt carrying payloads of the twisted monstrosities attacking the ship. The wolves scatter into the shadows once more, becoming nothing more than a mere figment. Unfortunately, his ship managed to catch the attention of a heavy class gunship, something twice the size of a normal ship. It's rotary canons open fire, sending bullets into the haze of his view. The scan of the wolves would have to wait.

Hydell yelled in sight of the gunship. The ship turned on its belly as he was on roof, taking the shots as the bullets bounced off of its shield, disabling its cloak once again. His ship did not look like it was from here. It looked fairly strange- it wasn't anything of the NTR, the Empire, or the Federation- as a matter of fact a scan would confirm no model of it ever even existed. The G-force of the turn slammed him back into the ship, but he managed to crawl his way back into the airlock and enter his ship. "Give me the stick, finish repairs on the cannons", Hydell said as he maneuvered the ship.

The gunship boosted forward, ejecting a spiked ramming shield. It barrels towards Hydell's ship, guns still blazing. On his other side, The Velvet Moth fires off a round of super heated metal at his ship, causing it to condense quickly and form a jagged mass of quick approaching shrapnel.

Edited by DesertX963: 5/11/2016 11:14:33 PM"Caution: Shield's are offline, ordnance to our flank, and the ship is still following us". Hydell rolled the ship, and his ship was hit in its left wing, but still able to function while losing its balance. "Status Update: Armor functioning at 80%. Ship engines are able to run at maximum potential- ship is at 50% consumption. Shall I-." "Wait", he said putting his hand on the hatch release. "You stole the prototype...impressive," Tethys said. The ship deployed something from its belly-it turns out Hydell's ship was a stealth bomber class. The device detonated with a flashing red light. A black hole suddenly erupts pulling the mass of the giant gunship inward, and with being much larger, it's pull was much stronger. Hydell engaged the thrusters on his ship to maximum as his ship was not using its cloak or shield anymore. It zoomed out disappearing from sight, and since it was smaller than both ships, it was relatively faster. It's black painting made it hard to track in space. Being a stealth class ship, lock on technology or a radar did not function against it.

The Velvet Moth didn't need radars, in fact, Imogen hated them. Instead, it kicks on echo-locators and thermals. Hydell's ship had given the cruiser any idea. Where one had a cloak, surely more were to follow. It was time to take them out. Suddenly, machine gun fire rattles the rocks around Hydell's ship as he makes his escape. A final effort to destroy or dismantle his ship. The two cruisers continue to bombard each other, the fleet of Imogen's crew becoming an overwhelming force.

The ship blew up, immediately becoming destroyed, but traces indicated that there were no life signs aboard the stealth bomber- it was operating under autopilot. Hydell was nowhere to be found onboard the ship or anywhere near the vicinity or wreckage.

The canons quickly rotate back around to other volunteer crafts. They didn't have time to check every single ship, but that was just how it went. The Velvet Moth wasn't better off, however. Burns, holes, and missing chunks all litter the black cruiser. Why anyone would want such destruction didn't have any good systematic reasoning. Near the destroyed craft, a lone gunship hovers nearby, POLICE written on the side. Yet, it's obviously stolen, and under control of a smuggler. However, the pilot seat is empty as the ship runs on autopilot. The slight beat of a guitar riff plays from the inside as its gentle spotlights burst on and examine the explosion.
