LIGHT LEVEL DOES NOT EQUAL SKILL LEVEL
OK... rant time.. I hate to be the "git gud scrub" type of guy but for God's sake the amount of incompetent people in Kingsfall is astonishing.
LFG is full of light level snobs (both characters I play are 332 when I'm raiding)
But the funny thing is I've dragged sub 300 light first timers through hard raid that performed better than half the 330+ light snobs I find on LFG.
KINGSFALL IS MECHANIC BASED, LIGHT LEVEL MEANS NOTHING IF YOU CAN'T COUNT YOUR DAMMED PLATES OR WATCH A STUPID ASS TIMER

If you're running a raid or a nightfall, you would want people with semi high light to be with you since they wont die as soon as you spawn in

We barely beat Golgoroth because they kept jumping down into the little hole before the the Titan(me). I kept telling them to wait for me to pop my W.o.D but they wouldn't listen. After several wipes and stupid shit we beat it. Then we spent what felt like hours on the jumping puzzle because the couldn't even make it to the chest. So everyone went to orbit except for like me and another guy. We get to the sisters, I tell them that we need to figure who's going on what platform, etc. Just trying to get that organized took forever. We beat the first sister and I get torn and all hell breaks loose. No one knows which plate they are it's -blam!-ing mad house. We wipe and I spend another minute trying to explain to them what's going to happen and get everyone on the right track. We finally beat it. So we get to Oryx and the other Titan thinks we only need one bubble. So we wipe. Then one of the guys helps kills the Orge but not his knight so we wipe. So pretty mush after, no bullshit, like an hour and half at Oryx alone I just turned my PS4 off. Oh yeah and we started out with a Warlock, 3 Titans, and 2 Hunters. The hunters got on their warlocks because they thought self-red would make it easier and we would beat it......it made it worse

4 RepliesSo I made a Titan on Saturday you can look for yourself he's a 329+ right now. So if I could get a character to almost max level in 4 days obviously light level doesn't mean much.

I made a similar thread a few weeks ago on this same subject. Prepare for bunch of replies from stupid scrubs telling you to go f u c k yourself, it's just a game, etc. But true enough, light level means nothing if you can't be bothered to learn the mechanics of the raid first. Like playing on normal first a few times, then jump in to hard.

2 RepliesProblem with TTK Raiders is just that. Noobs. The Vault [b][i][u]is[/u][/i][/b] the basis for core teamwork & communication. I suggest anyone new to Destiny Raids try out the Vault. It's a blast to play and the mechanics aren't too bad.

I agree with you completely, when I post in recruitment it had been just a general call for players 315+, any character type. I didn't even care what types of weapons a player used. I had no real issues getting the Raid done. Now with the recent flood of High light players it has become abysmal. Yesterday I had to actually demand 330+ light - exp - and must have a mic. I HATE being that guy. I tried a Raid yesterday with two players with no mics. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, my mistake it was miserable. Gave it about 7-8 tries. I dropped, started a new group with my high demands and got it done in two runs. Just because a player meets the light level RECOMMENDATION, doesn't mean they can do it.

LFG is generally players looking to get stuff done so list requirements to meet their own needs. Quite often players won't meet their own requirements but think that by having players who do meet those needs will make life easier for them. Ultimately playing with clan mates/friends is way better than lfg. No requirements other than helping others get stuff done.

I spent 7 hours on oryx last week. People really suck because they never run Kings fall before. I have 20+ completions

All your light level means is you've played long enough to get higher level gear. It has zero to do with how good you are. The one time i completed kings fall was my first ever time. Noone would explain what needed to be done but i worked it out myself almost immediately. Its not hard!

8 Repliesi have 3 334 characters and never got to complete kings fall only ever got as far as sisters and everyone dicks around or gives up, i got invited to oryx check point last week but i dont have tom so i got asked to leave...i was equiped with 335 hung jury 335 1kys and 335 sleeper

I have 3 335 guardians and I complete kings fall a canny few times. But being 335 has nothing to do with it.

5 RepliesEdited by Darches: 5/11/2016 6:25:56 AMI have to ask for EXTRA high light to try and filter out the scrubs. You can't carry in Kingsfall; 1 wipe is a death, unlike the other raids. I -blam!-ing hate Kingsfall. My PvE K/D went down 10% from wiping on this stupid ass raid.
