Only part it's actually useful for is daughters. Ive done the raid so many times without touch. Just bought one back yesterday for using it in POE however, melts bosses with blessings. But personally tlaloc works better with sunsinger. I don't have to rely on having a bubble to do fast dps

If you plan on running the raid (normal or hard, especially the latter) regularly then yeah you need it. Especially if bungie decides to raise the raid difficulty at some point.

Yes it is. You will have a lot different views on this though. At the sisters in a perfect world. All head shots everybody starts dps at the same time same light levels. The ToM will win every time. As for the ogres. When I've had two titans in the middle with two ToM I've never used up all of my blessing perk on one ogre. Rinse and repeat. Now when I'm the only one with ToM. I start getting into my health pretty good on the first ogre. Usually by the time the last one is down I'm stuck in the bubble with very little health, because I've carried this dumb ace through all of the ogres. He might get the killing shot, but I've done all the DPS damage. Getting the killing shot doesn't mean shet. When fighting the echoes of oryx having hunters for orbs and a blessing bubble. A group with ToM can just wreck the echo. Thus avoiding the dreaded slam. Sometimes. As far the Black Spindle goes. It's just the best weapon for the other two encounters. I've out scored others and been out scored. Only because I was late to the aura or missed head shots. Having those two weapons not only makes it easier for you, but your team as well. Not having them tells me you don't have any respect for your team, and your looking for a carry. Other people say their scouts or snipers do better. They just don't want to infuse their higher level gear into just a raid weapon. Also telling me they just want a carry too. This also tells me that they think their time is more important than mine. So yeah I prefer raiding with players that have both weapons and use them.

I only use it on 2CP's-Sisters&Øryx And sisters its a must, Øryx if your Titan on Örge Duty. If you have the Fragments though, why not? It's 3-310Exotic's(2 Shards or use for infusion)only need 1. lMH0 it's worth it just for those CP's, make them a joke with. Hard Mode timing starts right away on sisters so you have to kill 2nd faster-where it comes into play having a team full of them.

I only do challenge mode anymore so I skip the sisters. So the only time i use tom is on my titan when I'm killing ogres.

Still worth it: if not for he collection at least for the raid. Still the best weapon to melt sisters, and still the best weapon to stagger oryx and melt ogres(if you are a middle Titan.)

It's fantastic. Melts the last CoE boss in less than 30 seconds.

I use mine in many different situations. I soloed the first round of PoE Challenge with it yesterday and a lot of times on patrol farming exotics. Just gotta learn when to reload and stuff. With only one round left it absolutely melts the taken bosses. Worth the effort for sure. Edit: got it leveled to 329. I'm sure that helps the melt factor.

Worked well with small arms on the challenge of elders. Keep stepping in and out of blessings bubble.

Because of the ammo nerf, it is helpful against the sisters. You don't lose health and can pop 6,000 damage every hit and never have to reload if your running out of special and heavy

I feel like its a huge help in the mid at onyx that's really it. Personally though I hate the gun and never use it.
