I went a whole challenge run without a single heavy ammo pack drop. Primary and special were fine.

Had a similar experience, but at the last second I killed a group of enemies and, instead of a firefly explosion, heavy bricks flew everywhere. Sadly the boss just died. :(

Same here ran 41 and 42 x3. And I saw maybe 10 bricks of heavy in total between all 4 runs. Special was better but it the modifier had been special weapons we'd have been screwed.

Here's the thing: - special and heavy capacity is reduced, - but Heavy drop rate has not been increased... only special...
