We CURRENTLY have about 350,000 Metric Tonnes (771 million US standard pounds) of nuclear high level/energy (long lived) nuclear waste.
Thats both power plant/research plant waste+ the warheads btw.
An thats not counting at all low (energy) yield nuclear waste.
There is no current storage or plan for high energy nuclear waste----> it's expected to be solved in 100 years.
This stuff is dangerous to human life for 250,000 YEARS (per OUNCE)----> plutonium 239 decay rate to "safe for humans"/"non harmful to human life" on the 250k years.
So;
What you guys n gals think we should do about the waste an about nuclear energy?
