It's really bothersome to have some ugly hunter cloak or constantly have to keep the same Warlock Bond or perhaps Titan Mark equip due to its light level. I miss when I was able to have my Hunter Scarf(you know the very first one you get) equip while doing end game material and encounters. I believe giving them perks and stats is a correctable error. Dear Bungie Gods, Hear our prayer. The People of the Destiny community are asking, no, begging you to take us back to a time when our ghost shells and class Items were priceless and a part of us. Not just an item to further our light level. The class item used to be a way we could express ourselves! Now it is just another piece of gear to dismantle.
