BO3 Advice
To all of you dark matter owners out of there, can you please give me some advice on getting this damn camo?
By the way I don't have nuk3town

I played hardcore for all pistols, Po6 and Drakon. Do everything else in chaos and safeguard (especially snipers if you aren't the best at snipers).

4 RepliesEdited by Gtjerz: 2/23/2016 5:08:03 PMI've found that hardcore dom is the best for head shots. once you've done that, make two classes of the same gun. one that is perked out and one that has all attachments. then go into core safeguard. rapid kills is easy by the robot & the spawns are very easy to predict so you get blindsided less often. just started a couple days ago and I already have 4 guns gold and am 2 bloodthristy's off the kuda. also, I recommend using kinetic armor during your challenges & vision pulse during head shots.

1 ReplyTime, try and play with friends so you're not constantly thinking about it and they will just come naturally. I found if I was going out of my way to get the camos I'd burn myself out. Only have the last two handguns left to do and I really wish I'd done them sooner, not enjoyable at all.

1 ReplyI imagine it takes a lot of shitty games and a lot of BS Im a really good veteran COD player yet I dont even know if Ill ever get it (not that Im really trying but still) And its weird because most of the people who have it I absolutely destroy so it clearly doesnt indicate skill if you have it. Im guessing there is a way to boost for it

That was the only one in which i had to use nuk3town to get gold, wasnt bad on nuk3town but on other maps it was horrible to get bloodthirsties. Hardcore is good for headshots and drakon one shots but other than that just play what you like and the camo will come to you. Edit: Forgot to say that high caliber will be your best friend on weapons with it. Also forgot to say that i mostly played hardcore dom for headshots, longer game type and since there are objectives people dont camp as much, and if they do you know the general area where they will camp.

Lots and lots of hardcore and aiming above the head if you're using a shotgun

I pretty much only played hardcore free for all to get dark matter. For the knife and launchers I'd say ground war since you don't have Nuketown

A lot of people recommend hardcore but I found core to be far easier. Get as much precision out of your weapon as you can. Sights, grips, etc. And play passive for bloodthirsty's. Hero armor on the other hand; that's whole different story.

Just play with the guns, the head shots will come it just takes time. I got dark matter in just under 6 days of play time

Play demolition to get knife kills. Hardly anyone plays try hard in that mode. You won't run into parties. You'll just encounter greens playing it.

most of it should be done in hardcore if you have good aim. high caliber rounds & grip when it's an option. optics preferred. the challenges are pretty easy. one of the harder things is getting those damn head shots with the haymaker & brecci because you basically need to aim the damn things and that's not playing to the strengths of those weapons.

3 RepliesHardcore is your best friend until you get it so get comfy with it Aim for the head lol. The snipers will really annoy you unless you like sniping. If you grind at it, it'll inly take you a week or two

1 ReplyAll the challenges are easy, except the headshots, those are a pain in the ass, what I did, is go to hardcore, aim for the head, or put High Calibur on your weapons and aim for the head, start with the weapons that are a 1-shot to the head in core modes, when High Calibur is equipped, then move onto the ones that aren't, and just keep going from there, patience is a virtue, don't get frustrated when you don't get a headshot, you'll get em eventually, as long as you're following the steps I gave you

Most people with dark matter rather did the prestige glitch or hosted a hacked lobby for head shots etc.

1 ReplyI would work on 1 hit kill weapons first or of you get angry with headshots, that way you still see progress towards it and don't lose all motivation

1 Reply-In general hardcore was much easier for me especially with pistols. -Use high caliber when you can -Always have the thought in your head that you're going for headshots, you will more likely aim for the head -After headshots, the remaining challenges are easy
