Improved Nightfall rewards? F****g bulls**t Bungie!
290 armor pieces, 295 ghost shells, 18 strange coins and a whole heap of -blam!- YOU for your efforts. There is absolutely no need for this BS Bungie, like seriously...Why? Thoughts everyone, what are your experiences because from what I've heard around is that these rewards are pretty god damn common, way more common than they should be. Hell, they shouldn't even be in the loot table but whatever that's my rant done. Now let's actually hear your thoughts.

Nightfall is 280 light though? You want it to drop stuff 40 light higher without the challenge? It's drops 310 that's good enough til a 300 light old school version gets reimplemented.. get good..

I stopped playing Nightfalls. No point anymore. Taking away the EXP boost was a dumb idea and the rewards are all crap.

*[i]sigh[/i]* Here we go again. Look at the nightfall from the directory. What's the light level listed? That's right, 280. Now what's your light level? 317? The only way the nightfall will be useful is; -You're grinding for strike specific loot -You get a god roll legendary -You get an exotic you might be missing Other than that, it's very stupid to expect something useful light level wise, since it isn't endgame content.

It's random; anecdotal evidence 8 of the last 9 runs I received an exotic armor piece. Ironically, with 3oc I can't seem to get drops anymore. Sadly, my friends have gotten legendary 310 stuff... ut at least the rolls were pretty good.

4 RepliesThey reduced the frequency of Ghosts, which from your post is obvious it worked. A few weeks ago you would have got 3 Ghosts. Next, they increased the cap from 300 light to 310, and lowest from 280 to 290. Which is improved

Also they need to retire this hold your hand and baby you -blam!-ery nightfall and bring back the real nightfall. Make the nightfall glorious again Bungie. We already have heroic strikes. We don't need more with a different name.

I like the strange coins :) I do not like the 3 marks per nightfall when a single heroic is worth more than all 3 nightfalls though :(

It is random...my friends consistently get strange coins and ghosts while 8 have gotten an exotic for the past 5 runs...and a lot of frustration fr9m the fireteam... No complaints on my end though.

7 RepliesThe Nightfall is meant for 290-300 Light players. If you're, like, 315 Light, chances are you're not going to get something useful.

Most people who share your thoughts are day 1 / year 1 players. In the old days; the knight fall was an end game activity and loot was such. In year 2 and some would even argue HoW it's a lower level activity for those prior to end game. The rewards are such. How about a 310 option with greater loot?

I'm done with NF's. Last two got a 296 ghost shel and a 290 helmet. So blaming weak.

I feel you I've been playing since day one,I'm about fn' done with this BS every week I run the nightfall on at least two sometimes three characters have popped HUNDREDS of three of coins in the nightfall in the iron banner crimson doubles and in the raid have every exotic weapon in the game(including year one,necro,mythoclast)every Titan exotic in the game EXCEPT the fn' twilight garrison!!!!! I'm just tired of feeling like Bungee saying "FU-Q!!!" and week after week raid after raid no TG! Xur can have the same sh1t over and over but never the TG I'm just tired of getting on a game that feels like replayability=dangle the carrot.Are they so thin on content they have exotics that were advertised for year two that still aren't in the game or obtainable FOUR FN' months in (dune marchers, the thagomisers,shinobu's vow,frost-EE5,Transversive steps etc.etc.etc.)GIVE US WHAT WE FN' PAID FOR!!!!! For year two (and here's a concept) we can PLAY with these items before you lightfuk us on the next expansion.

Do the weekly crucible bounties instead. Ive been consistently bagging exotics and shards each week. I just got a 310 bad juju and some exotic armor last night. Its also how i got a y2 hard light. Waayyyy better odds

You could try making multiple guardians, to allow yoursef to run nightfall 3x a week, thus increasing your chance at better drops...
