Good grief lil girl. Destiny isn't an MMO. Not even close. But let's ignore that for now and try to think of another game that has gear progression like Destiny... I'll help. Borderlands? Nope. How about Fallout? Nope. CoD? Nope? Battlefield? Nope. Maybe a straight RPG like Dragon Age? Nope. Witcher? Nope. Hmmm... maybe there's another game that's almost exactly like Destiny... oh yeah, Warframe! That must have entire swathes of gear that gets left behind all the time since it's not even an AAA game, right? Nope.
Seriously kid, find me a game that has fundamentally -blam!-ed over its entire gear progression model 4 times in one title. Warcraft and similar (actual) MMORPGs have done it, but in MASSIVE expansions not sloppy DLC releases. CoD and other, similar games, don't let you carry gear forward to an entirely new title either, but DLCs add content, not remove or disenfranchise it (and keep in mind, Destiny hasn't actually had anything but DLC, no matter how badly they want to pretend TTK is an expansion). The VAST majority of straight RPGs do, indeed, feature tiered gear progression up to end-game. Any DLCs subsequent to initial release add new content, but not necessarily end-game content. And even when they do, like the last DA: Inquisition DLC, the gear isn't better than the old top tier loot, it's just different. Maybe you'd know that if you'd actually played some of them. Then again, maybe I'd be able to see things from your point if view - and I've honestly tried, believe it or not - but I just can't seem to get my head up my own ass.

Edited by Andrenden: 2/11/2016 4:27:16 AMLooks like I was right, you are an idiot. Borderlands does do exactly this. The DLC weapons far outclass the weapons that came with the base game. You also focused on the MMO aspect which I CLEARLY stated it was common in MMO's but that the RPG aspect that it's attributed to. Once again, the Division will also depreciate your weapons as content gets released and you won't admit you were wrong when it happens. I won't be back. You insist I'm a fan boy and everything when I've got longer without playing the game than you have. So when someone asks how Bungie's dick tastes just remember that the flavor is more recent in your mouth than mine.

Nice, glad to see you aren't afraid to come out of the closet. I'm sorry though, I'm married. So you'll have to go be gay somewhere else. But congratulations on taking that big first step.
Seriously, who admits to sucking Bungie's dick? The fanboy is strong with this one.
