NLB is weak enough as it is. It's the only sniper that deals less precision damage than it should.
NLB is weak enough as it is. It's the only sniper that deals less precision damage than it should.
lol What? You can one shot headshot someone, you can rez snipe and you get as much ammo as you like - how is this "weak"? lol

All I'm saying is. The gun has low dps, which is why I mostly use it for spits and giggles on patrol or story missions, and last I checked it's precision damage multiplier was only 3.5x. Even with the master active. (A bug I know)

PvE I would agree that the weapon is utterly useless, aside from 'for the lulz' in which is is genuinely hysterical to try and use - it is so bad it's brilliant. PvP, in particular Trials (to which I was referring), especially with the upcoming nerf to Special, it is a potentially powerful weapon indeed - one shot kill from spawn, effectively unlimited ammo, and a nice DPS boost with kills (for those pesky self rezzers etc)

Even that aside, you impressively ignored the other points - it has great accuracy, low reticle movement (aka sway) and you get effectively unlimited ammo - you call that a "weak" weapon?

Whoa whoa, I was only arguing one thing. Thus why I ignored the other stuff you stated. Plus I came under the expectation that you're sniping without the perk on which would be much more typical since the scenario for rez sniping is rare.

Very much true, and I would be impressed if someone did that with NLB.
-
I was under the idea that you thought it can Rez-snipe without the the perk active, since the perk wouldn't be active unless you killed the guy trying to Rez before which the perk wouldn't really have any value unless the third teammate came by and got the Rez before you can snipe them, which if you killed someone before they got the Rez then the next guy probably wouldn't either.

You can res snipe some one for 10 seconds after getting a kill -______- That's doesn't mean it's OP
You can res snipe some one for 10 seconds after getting a kill -______- That's doesn't mean it's OP
No one said it was OP, all I did was say it certainly wasn't "weak"
-
Actually nlb can't rez snipe
-
It can with the master perk active, but that is a very very rare scenario.
It can with the master perk active, but that is a very very rare scenario.
Happens more often than you'd think on Trials :)
-
Haha very true
-
It cannot res snipe
