The Division is bad as shit!! (In a good way)
Yeah, come March 8th, I'll be visiting destiny on Fridays just to see what xur is selling until I run out strange coins. From what I've played of the beta, if the rest of the game is like what I'm seeing so far, I'll be knee deep in rpg goodness for a very long time. The combat is awesome, and the weapon modding is cool as shit. I like the side missions I've played to. It's what I've been waiting for since they announced it. I can't wait for March 8th.
Also, this is not an I quit destiny, -blam!- all of you kind of post, so no point in wasting your time insulting me. I just found a game I will be giving destiny up for.

You don't have to even log on to destiny every Friday to check xur, just use the app or go on the forums

2 RepliesPick a spot near an Extraction and shoot every person you can see once. It won't make you Rogue but you'll be marked as a target. Eventually a noob will shoot you back and go Rogue, then everyone mows him down and you get some of the bounty. I got 5000 DZ credits doing this for about 20 minutes.

2 RepliesIt's a completely different style. The two games are made for different kinds of people. Not to say that one person can't enjoy both, but the gameplay makes it a different experience. Personally I can appreciate strategic Tom Clancy shooter type games, however I don't find the combat very engaging. With it being a 3rd person cover mode shooter, I don't really feel like I'm in the action. I feel like the gunplay in destiny is much more interesting rather than just dumping clips into guys with the screen panned out super far. Also, I like military shooters and all, but Destiny has a much more interesting world and atmosphere. I could see how some people might like The Division more than Destiny, but they're not really the same. Personally I still prefer Destiny, mistakes and all.

The gun battles are good fun and the visuals are superb. The dark zone... The atmosphere in there is awesome. It's quite unnerving being tracked by another non hostile when you have loot. You run around expecting everyone to potentially turn rogue, and when chasing a rogue agent you have non hostiles to be careful of too. One bad shot and you're rogue yourself. No issues with map size. What it lacks in monstrous size it makes up in density. Very impressed so far. Thumbs up from me. Bring on March.

9 RepliesI played 3 hours this mornings in a fire team and found it to be really boring. Same recycled hostage and stop execution missions, dark zone was fun but higher level players just camp the entry point, and the inexcusable part in my eyes was that I had to actively wander blocks in the PVE zones looking for enemies. Will play the weekend before making a decision but seems like a pass for me personally.

16 RepliesBeen watching a lot of gameplay. Looks really good. Do you think the loot drops will get boring though ? Like I destiny you get this sick helmet that has all these cool perks. In the division you get a red hat ? Woooo lol. Also the cover fire would seem to get a little repetitive after awhile since the kill time takes forever
