I haven't played trials in a while, but it's because not using heavy weapons keeps the round balanced on skill sets instead of a fire and forget rocket. The heavy round is meant to even the playing field but for an evenly matched game it's more fun to play without it. If players wave it off, you should wave back and don't take it. If a team waves and you wave, then you pick it up and use your heavy, you're a douche.

  • I'd be a douche if I waved back, AND THEN used anyway. If you wave at me , and I don't acknowledge it, you can't get mad at me for playing within the actual confines of the game, instead of made up rules.

Yeah definitely, you're right. If someone waves, and you don't wave back it's game on. Changed my post.

  • I play trials to win, not to have morals of using heavy, I'll wave and then proceed to use my truth to win the round
