Matchmaking
Add optional matchmakeing for all PvE cooperative activities that dont have it.

Starting point i.e your at oryx and a player level I join MM wanting to do it from the start but get put in with you

6 RepliesI can't see your account details, but people who ask for this are typically not in a clan. MM on the activities that don't have it would only lead to more frustration for you. Join a clan and this issue goes away.

6 RepliesThe issue with ppl, it seems, who dont want matchmaking is they cant kick ppl who are not playing correctly. Is that an obstacle that cant be overcome with in matchmaking?

Regardless of optional or not, it still wouldn't help you out the way you're hoping it to. The whole issue with it is that you might never get in the right team to pull off total victory. The activities that currently don't have matchmaking don't have it, because the content "requires" close teamwork and seamless run through off all the steps you have to take for completion. This is for the most part unachieveable for high tier activities. I'm not talking about the year 1 raids or POE. If they would add MM there it's no problem. But if they would people would complain massively over not having MM with KF, hard mode or the challenges at the same time. If you're solely talking about the nightfalls I would say go solo. It might not be much fun and take you longer but at least you can do it. I do myself as well. I kinda like going in against all the odds and still win in the end. But that's just me.

MM wouldn't be all that great for Raids. It wouldn't guarantee people using Mics and communicating. What I actually think they should do is put something in game, specifically in the Tower, that allows people to find group through communicating with other players. Basically I want an in game forum specifically for Fireteam organization.

Matchmaking wouldn't be reliable as most if not all people who'd use it would be overtly underleveled and/or extremely inexperienced, therefore making endgame activities like raids nigh impossible. Now, I do believe there should be something done to help those without permanent teams. What I'd propose would be an NPC or kiosk in the Tower exclusively for LFG purposes.

What if they can implement something that we can set the option to look for a specific light level. That way when matchmaking is looking for guardians it will only search for whatever light level you set it to. I think that's a good idea. For example, if you're looking for 310+ light for HM you could easily set it at 310+ and matchmaking will only look for 310+ light guardians. Easy as that. Also maybe they can add an option where you can enable it to only matchmake you with people who have a mic on. That way whoever has an active mic on it will only pair you up with people that have them on.

1 ReplyIt's incredibly disappointing that Bungie has continually ignored our requests for this. I can understand leaving Hard Mode Raids and Trials without matchmaking but Nightfall? Come on, it just needs to have it at this point. I'd even be interested in trying ransoms on normal raids. (since I already use LFG for normals anyways)

We have been pushing for this since the game released and past comments by Bungie, have made it very apparent that they do not care what the community as a whole, wants.

For all those who say that this isn't wanted, I want to chime in and say that it is...I left and haven't played in months because it wasn't implemented, even though there was outcry for it. I got an email today trying to coax me back offering rewards, so I thought I'd pop on the forums to see if they finally listened. Guess not, so I'll say bye again, please see reason.

[b]Optional[/b] - (adjective): available to be chosen but not obligatory. 2. Bungie's narrow-minded philosophy of "bring your own friends, we will not bother with matchmaking" in game that requires you to play with other people.

5 RepliesForgot to mention..starting to see ppl on my standard Destiny boards who were totally against raid matchmaking now wanting it. Why? Because not enough of thier friends play anymore and they are discovering what a pain Lfg sites are.

If they do not want to do auto match making for trials or raids or nightfall, then they should offer in game matchmaking. Something where someone creates a team in a lobby and people can join. The person creating the team can kick people and has to start the activity. That is how it is done in other games with high end coop stuff.

11 RepliesI would exploit this so bad like tying rubberband on a OLD controller so i dont get kicked it worked for iron banner and srl. All u have to do is make sure your character is moving and r2 is being pressed. A Rubberband can do all this. Try hard atfirst then constantly go (ASK). Like check facebook instagram . play halo 5 on my Xbox one while you ps4 guys are wondering WTF I AM DOING. please bungie do this for people. Like me who LOVE GOING (ASK). Then boom self res im back sorry guys. Lmfao
