Why do guys choose female characters? The REAL answer.
So, you're wondering why some guys choose to play as female characters.
Want the answer?
It's because this is a video game, and people do what they want to get the most enjoyment from a game.. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that [i]is[/i] the point of a video game... Right?
"You aren't a girl in real life, so why is your character a girl?"
Call it a hunch, but I don't think people can pull flaming revolvers out of the air and shoot fire in real life, either. But your characters still do.
Destiny is [i]not[/i] meant to be an accurate representation of the real world, for what I hope are obvious reasons.

I have 1 each of the races. I have 1 each of the classes. If there was a third gender/sex/whatever, I would have 1 each of them.

It depends on the game and the character models to be honest. For example, I refuse to play males on ARK because of how beefy they are.

The females always look the best in the character creation on destiny, in my opinion

I choose them for variety of who I play, since I typically roleplay my characters too, my Warlock is a girl, same with some of my SWTOR Characters. I get way into character regardless of gender.

The reason I always hear is that the hit box is smaller on the head. I don't believe that to be true, but its the popular consensus. At least it was in year one.

I had been reading her The Hobbit for a while as her bedtime story and she was hooked on Elves. So my first character was Violet Amethyst (her name). A pink female Elf much to her amusement. We spent many an hour playing it together, well me playing and her laughing sat on my knee. It became a theme as she grew up and I played many an RPG or MMO with her sat on my knee advising me on clothing and hairstyles. She's 21 and flown the nest but I still create female characters much to her amusement lol
