Are nightfall rewards for effort fair? My two cents and say no. // 373 posts and still no Bungie response. Time will tell.
Simply put. Two runs, and I get a 295 legendary helmet for my hunter (who's 313) and then I get..Lord save me, a 290 ghost shell for my Titan (at 303).
Yeah. I just got six legendary marks. Not. Worth. It. Pretty sure others have had the same luck -- or maybe have gotten lucky. But these -blam!-ing things? Shouldn't be dropping like this. It was like this last week, too. And, the week before. I've gotten now on total 5 vanguard shells from the last 3 weeks of Nightfalls. For the love of god y

Please explain how Nightfall rewards are balanced/logical for it's difficultly and time consumption? This is just outright stupid. For those who actually DO get blessed by RNGesus, glad to hear. But my luck seems to be in the shitter 24/7 with Nightfalls now. This is just utterly demotivating, honestly.

So as a prior individual in here said -- [b]I'd like to see a option to alter the difficulty to a 310 level, or maybe even max light level -- For superb difficulty, required coordination from fireteams (which would garner more community interaction and communication), Forced orbiting on wipe, and greatly increased (if not guarenteed max-level drops once-per-week with a high exotic chance) loot system drops for those who achieve victory. Does any of this sound feasible?[/b]
//EDIT 3: It seems most players have reached a consensus that Nightfalls need an added difficulty level and loot-table for higher light-level players -- Which would allow for the nightfall to remain mid-tier gameplay to allow growth into Raid-level capability, and allow for the higher-tier players who are so limited in their choices of progressing to max-light level (AKA, a 310 light level difficulty). Would this be beneficial to the community if this was implemented?

I was also lucky enough to get a horn kit....after SRL was over!!? Bungie logic strikes again! Second time around I get....12 strange coins..... Super duper LoL

The drops are a joke..I haven't done nightfall since ttk launched

Honestly, I played the first one after ttk dropped and got two blues. Think I've done maybe two since then.

I agree that the nightfall rewards are bad most of the time but I don't consider the nightfall much of a challenge or "effort". It only takes 15 min

I'm a 307 hunter and a 306 titan. I got a 302 ghost and a 293 pair of boots. Come on its old after getting blaming for 4 weeks in a row

Nightfalls are almost a garunteed strike exclusive drop when you complete them. That's what Bungie meant when they said they buffed them, but we still need something better than lengendaries dropping below 290 and a ton on Rares.

I got eighteen strange coins so yeah sometimes useful rewards. I also enjoyed the challenge as well. I understand that I can't always get the best rewards and it's fine. I just enjoy having something as challenging as this weeks nightfall to do with my friends.

Yeah, the rewards are awful. But it's not that they should buff the exotic drop rate or things like that. The rarity of them is party what makes them special and worth grinding for. However, they should make the RNG a little better and rule out chances of a low level ghost shell/legendary armour or weapon dropping for you if you are 300+. If 300+, at least give something 300-310 that can be dismantled for infusion.

I don't really care that much about the rewards tbh. I'm more upset about everything they took away from nightfalls that used to make them worth doing, regardless of rewards.

Day one player, never had a Suros drop... Till I did the NF tonight. 310 Suros... Just the chance at something awesome fort effort makes it worth it to me.

Well. I think the Nightfall is only good for those who are leveling up their characters and need lower light drops. I get good drops for my light, being at about 290-305. I get 304 Ghost shells, 298+ weapons and armor. And it really helps me out. But I can see if you're at 310 and want to get to 320 you would need better rewards, but I think the nightfall isn't intended for guardians who are over 300 light-ish. That's just my two cents on it.
