About Shoulder charge...
I can not stand this anymore. So many people rely on shoulder charge as a striker. It is abused more than Thorn ever was in my personal opinion. When I play As a striker I personally use either Juggernaut or Unstoppable most of the time but shoulder charge is prevalent. A random I had off of lfg last week for trials didnt even know what Juggernaut was despite being a maxed out striker. He was a TTK player so he was less experienced but still... Im not calling for a nerf on its damage. But just like the new No Back Up Plans require you to have a melee charge to work, you should need a melee charge to use shoulder chargem especially since ya know, when you dia via shoulder charge it shows up on the kill feed as a melee?

Nothing wrong with shoulder charge. It's already been nerfed. Trouble is you if you are still dying all the time from it. I seem to survive it frequently.

Shoulder charge isnt a problem if you know how to pull the trigger on your weapon.

I can understand an Exotic giving you a faster cool down but when it has a very fast cool down already, some people abuse it and just rush in after you like the way people did with shotguns and blink. In some ways, it's the Titan's aggressive-blink. I don't want it nerfed since I play all three characters but I do agree it can seem too much sometimes when you have multiple Titans running it. But it's up for debate and you get all these "get gud" kids and they are the reason Bungie nerfs stuff. Of course they are gonna take the OP more serious than someone who says "Get gud" or "scrub." That's what this community does not understand. We all have to be more vocal and less immature if we want Destiny to change correctly.

I hope they add an exotic that gives Shoulder Charge for free so Strikers can also get Juggernaut. That way they could choose between buffing their Shoulder Charge or buffing their FoH either with the perk tree or the Helm of Inmost Light. Shoulder Charge is balanced because it only has a certain amount of time during a sprint to use it. You have ~5 seconds to actually hit someone. Find someone too early and its not charged and ready. Find someone too late and the charge disappears. Unlike most abilities in the game, Shoulder Charge takes a good mix of skill and luck to time it all right.

2 RepliesAs a Titan and supporter of the shoulder charge, I will say that having it require a melee charge is actually a very good idea. Honestly this is probably the best way to balance it
