Hawkmoon was so new and beautiful (xbox player). I used it for everything. The accuracy could have been better but it wasn't terrible. Then patch 2.1.0 came and killed it. Does anyone else agree? Why even consider it an exotic anymore?

it hasn't been the same since they nerfed it after year one, it is a shame xbox users never got to try it then. was my go to weapon for pvp but have not used it since
-
1 ReplyHawkmoon will never be the same as in year 1. Before Xbox got it the gun was amazing.
-
4 RepliesI find Hawkmoon to be very inconsistent now. Shoot for an Eyasluna or Imago Loop with Rifled Barrel. Those feel very similar to pre-nerf HM.
-
2 RepliesThe Hawkmoon was my favorite weapon in year 1. The range made it better than a scout rifle. Hang back a bit and it would poop all over tlw and thorn. Sniper glare = no problem. It was the perfect weapon. Honestly the range of y1 Hawkmoon was what made it special. Without the range it just does not have the fire rate to be competitive enough. Especially with luck in the chamber being nerfed(fixed?). Sorry Xbox but you never had a chance to use it when it was at its best.

2 RepliesAll hand cannons are trash in pve. Ace of spades 10 mag with 50 in the bag. To kill a yellow takes 10 shots or 20% of its ammo. Hand cannons need a bigger reserve.

8 RepliesHawkmoon works fine. It just lost it's ability to snipe, which is fine.
-
2 RepliesI think it's better
-
Hmm i dont know. Hawkmoon was working fine for me. I just spec'd to increase range.

1 ReplyFeels like some of my shots are blanks with it now, when I know that I hit them. I still use it sometimes though...
-
1 ReplyI was doing well with it before the patch, now not so much
-
6 RepliesI never used it enough before the patch, what did they do to it?
-
1 ReplyWhy do they consider any Exotic special anymore. It is sad that legendary weapons and armor outshine exotics.
-
7 RepliesYeah, it got more then a bit -blam!-ed.
