What evidence is there that Christianity is true?

1 ReplyNo one needs proof really. It's not about "if the theology is real. I feel like Religion has created a false stereotype of who God is. In the end it's about a relationship with the creator, not any law or doctrine. I used to be a Christian, but I don't identify with them anymore.

I'm not a Christian, but please don't go around saying what people shouldn't or should believe. Religion was created by old civilizations to explain the unknown. Today, it is used as a sort of 'pillow' for people to fall back on in times of need. If I was religious, and I was going through tough times, I would pray to my God/gods, as a way to believe and have faith that things will be better. Now, if you're an atheist (or simply don't give a shit) you rely on science and trust in yourself that you can succeed. It's apples and oranges, people. Take your pick and move along.

This may sound...Dumb, but if the Universe doesn't require a god, that answers nothing in the end. If a smaller, condensed universe is the answer and I simply must accept it because law states there can never be nothing, then the same can be said about god. We don't know what created/caused said god, but using the same logic, I can say he was always there because he must be and is essential. Surely an entity so complex wouldn't be easy to find or trace? If said god is outside time/space, then how can we use tools WITHIN time/space to find something OUTSIDE? Suppose there is an answer to god's origins, it would be a complexity beyond nightmare assuming it were true. I don't know the answers, but neither do you.
