To be honest I really like infusion. I only play as a hunter so it's really nice to finally have a use for all the titan and warlock exotic gear I get besides adding another shard to the collection. Got my hunter to 309 over the weekend because of it. Learning the best way to use the three of coins will help you out tremendously. Using it the wrong way will lead you to create a thread about how infusion sucks. Just my two cents.

"Lack of Weapon parts" This is a personal problem. If you were stupid enough to spend all your weapon parts and armor parts on exchanges you deserve what you got. Most people don't ever let their count get below the thousands which is also not hard to get to. "This game became way more boring ever since TTK came out" I don't know about you, but I have been having a blast with TTK and all the new content. Motes of light actually have a real use now and aren't just sitting in your vault gathering dust. Remember when people bitched and moaned (Even when reforging) that they had too many motes of light? Did you also forget that you can turn them in for rep? Also, I would say quickly leveling and unlocking nodes on equipment is quite useful as before we would have had to grind the hell out of strikes or crucible to get that experience in the past. "Severe PVP Inbalance" This one made me laugh. PVP hasn't been more balanced in a long time. It's actually nice to see people getting kills with more primaries and not seeing handcannons and (to a lesser extent) shotguns filling up the kill log every game now. I will admit that IB gear being at 280 is a bit of a let down, but soon not only will hard mode KF be upon us (which gives out 310-320 gear making infusion even easier) people are completing the raid more often which gives 300+ gear so it isn't that bad. Also, don't know if you noticed this or not, but IB armor actually has specific perks that relate to crucible. I will also give you that old content has become irrelevant, but old raids often do become irrelevant in RPG's, that's how it works. I think they should at least put old strikes into the new playlists. Maybe even make story mode version of the Vault and CE just to catch new players up. Exotic Shards are also still used for upgrading Exotic armor through infusion. Though I do admit I wish that some of the gear just had fixed values or that when you infuse one piece you just get the value the previous had before. Other than that, the principle of infusing weapons and armors that you like to new values so they stay relevant through the whole expansion is actually a good idea. Honestly, if you don't like Destiny that much though, maybe you should just go back and play other games you did enjoy perhaps? Just saying....

Infusion was fun until they made weapon parts scarse and removed exotic shards. I am a day one player and have over a hundred shards saved up so that's not an issue for me. And neither were parts until just recently. I am down to less than 50 on my main after having well over a 1000 when TTK dropped. That's because it costs 10 parts to infuse one but you only get 1-3 parts back depending on the weapon you breakdown. You use parts three times faster than you get them. That's broken. If I was a newer player with no surplus, I would have been stuck a while back. Bungie, stop making more excuses to grind. There are enough already with taken patrols, runes to fill, etc. Those events should provide me with enough greens and blues to have plenty of parts. It should cost the amount of one weapon to infuse something, not ten weapons.

You tards still clinging to old shit lol. I really hope this is satire cuz the new systems is light years ahead of vanilla days. I realize it may be driving you guys crazy but to do the content you dont need max level at all. You can do the raid at 290 and hard mode is releasing at 300-310, which drops 310+ gear. Like why are you bitching when nothing is level locked anymore? Sure its nice to get max level but who cares and just play the game and itll come. It will keep you looking for that last piece of 310, 320, or 330 gear. The old system sucked cuz once you had the armor there was zero incentive to play it anymore (other than fun). At least this way you can always hope for that last max piece with pulse or heavy perk. Many persistent online games put old shit on back burner and future dlc will rework it or bring it back. Who wants to do VoG for years straight and after hundreds of runs... like really?

Blue gear should drop up to 310 light. It really sucks that we can only infuse our gear with raid gear and 310 exotics.

Well, i'm a day one player (even Beta) and had a 3 Month break until Wednesday (i was so bored at one point and was in vacatuon when TTK started). And in my opinion, TTK is THE BEST AddOn - this should have been Destiny right from the start. I mean... the Raid is awesome, there is a lot to do, and there are a lot of new mechanics... for example the part, where you have to get the wormsent and then make it to the worm chest in 60 seconds... i had a lot of fun (and frustrations) with it yesterday. So... dont be whiney... if you dont like to play it anymore, play something different.. you might xome back and it might be fun again.

Yeah the infusion system is in a horrible state right now. I mean it was cool all the way to about level 290-295. After that, legendaries don't decrypt past 290 (hell they don't decrypt past 280!). So the only way to upgrade gear after that is to get exotic 310 drops or raid drops. And then even the raid drops are ridiculous. I'm a level 306, wtf do I need a 300 defense boots? Or a 300 ghost shell when I obviously have a 305 currently.

I stopped nightfall cause crap drops...stopped strikes for same reason. IB is broken....No reason to play until they fix the economy. Pretty much the same crap on a different DLC. Playing other games now. I am having some fun with mad max. played the star wars game for beta. There are other games until the wave of new games. Bungie better get it right or I am really done.

It's a more hardcore style of content that rewards people who have been here for a long time. Like I've done 99% of the content in the game and I'd play ttk is the best part of the game. The new content is really nice, quests are right on the mark and the new light system is what it should be. The only problem is that people are forgetting that you might have to actually put time into a game to be rewarded. Alot of people are used to things just being handed to them now a days in video games.

Infusion is great - you're an ass. Glass Needles are even better, making infused gear perfect.

I agree that infusion is a little costly in weapon parts, 10 is a lot to ask. Otherwise I think most of your opinion is pretty weak.. Classic case of treating the current game as if it was going to stay this way.

I love the infusion system. I think the raid gear and weapons look like ass on my Titan, so I have chosen to infuse them into my FWC gear. Sure there are some raid perks I am missing, but I rather not look like Oryx's albino cousin. This system allows me to do that. Also I think that King's Fall is as good a design as the VoG. Though I still go back and play the previous to raids for fun. That's right, for fun. Quit treating Destiny like your job. If you enjoyed VoG so much nothing is stopping you from playing it again.

This game is better them ever and infusion is one of the best things in it right now.

Infusion is fine. It's meant to work in the long term. After the heroic mode comes out, and everyone has raid gear, people will put their drops into different gear and customise. It's not meant to work BEFORE hard mode!!!!!
