Three of coins bull
So I did 8 strikes and killed 5 Champions recently all while a three of coins was active and I have yet to get a single exotic drop. Compared to the 1 in 5 rate it was going at last week, this is kinda bullcrap. Is anyone else having trouble with this thing, or is this all just my crappy luck?

Friend popped 2 of em during daily on Saturday and got a legendary and exotic drop effin bs feels the exact same as destiny was when it first came out friends get mad mad drops and I get nothing no purples or exotics just crap ass greens and low lvl blues

2 RepliesHahaha... Think that's bad? Try using 11 of them and nothing, to top it off I've done the tier 3 court of oryx almost 20 time and has 1 legendary and a blue special to show for it. Oh it get's better, Did Skolas and didn't get anything from him, not the shader, ship, or emblem. done the husk of the pit thing over 1600 time and only have 3, done crota over 30-40 times and no crux, AND the gun I tried half of year 1 to get isn't coming to year to despite it's buff. How are you?

I got one drop before the patch, and I have gotten one after. Took longer the second time for sure. I agree that I have seen an increase in legendary drops and rares becoming legendary upon description.

I have used 15-20 CoO, strikes, raid, etc. and an exotic dropped only once during the Warpriest part of the raid.

They just increase your chances to get a exotic. I have gotten more legendary drops using them than before.

Same happened to me, used all of my three of coins and didn't get a single exotic. I guess it just boils down to luck, but bungie should make it so that if you don't get an exotic on the first or second use the chances go up by a certain percentage on the next use.

I have used over 30 and haven't gotten one single exotic. Yes that is 30+ strikes and 30+ 3oC...

Just bad luck. I've gotten over 60 engrams using them. In the beginning I was like you and didn't think they were working. I was on my tenth time without a drop and then boom I got a double drop it was awesome.

2 RepliesPast 15 -20 coins, haven't gotten shit. I think I've burned a total of 80 and had 6 exotics drop. Including hawk moon and light beyond nemisis, which I wasted legendary marks buying and xur also sold that same week. I feel your pain. I'm probably the most unlucky destiny player there is. Rng hates me

1 ReplyUsed 5 and gotten 3 exotics. Suros, monte carlo, horseman. Only Suros was the only one I didnt have. Horseman did have a 310 light.

Yeah I just use them as I play without grinding for drops. Got hereafter today from Gogo

Just use them as you go along. Grinding strikes for a chance gets boring. I've just been randomly using them here and there and have gotten 3 out of 7 coins.
