This is my opinion: Have you even seen one friend with a girl character when he's a guy? I have plenty of time I don't understand it.
I always thought they where going to gap to it later or something.
For me it doesn't feel comfortable with haveing a girl character. By having a girl character it's basically saying that's you in a girl forum. I wanna be a dude like an male exo as me I would look cool. Male Human ya I would look cool. Male awoken us I would look cool.
Also the female dance moves makes it look like there in a strip club beside that my friend keeps twerking on me. Like come on man.
Any comments?

I play a female hunter that I'm leveling to make as my co-main with my Lock Lol, but I made a female because I don't see too many games with lead female characters, Off the top of my head I only know of Bayonetta, Samus, and dare I say it... ms.pac man so to play as a hardcore bad ass female hunter one shot golden gun and infinite throwing knife kills is pretty cool in my book. My brother is just like you wouldn't make a female character in any game if his life depended on it, well maybe if his life depended on it, he doesn't even like playing as females in games like Mk or Street Fighter so I don't know maybe it's a generation thing Lol

It's cuz I'm a male in the real world and it never really occurred to me to go against the grit and put boobs on my Avatar - I've known guys to pick females for these reasons - to look at digital boobs - to hear a woman grunt and death cry when playing as a male ( kind of like auditory boobs ) - to watch them do the sexy twerk mentioned above

They have better animations and sometimes the gear looks better on them. Also I'd rather stare at a hot girl than a dude when I get out into 3rd person

I thought my hunter should be as skinny as possible. Also I wanted to have one of each race but I hated the male awoken's dance at the time.

I always had male characters I just re-made a Warlock and a Titan and decided to make them Human and Female because why the -blam!- not who cares

2 RepliesThe difference is the mind set. Some people who want to enjoy the story and have that character be an extension of themselves will always choose their gender. The other mindset of people who just want a good shooter or game and aren't into being fully immersed in the story will pick what ever. Couple of peoples responses can be summed up as "because I don't wanna stare at man-@ss all day". Fair enough.

I have 2 males characters (Hunter, Titan) and 1 female character (Warlock). The reason for me is that my wife actually plays the Warlock and she wanted her own character. The bad part is that the character is maxed and I don't want to start a new one and undergo all the BS that goes with it. I hope that answers your question.
