Late night poll!!! Keep farming for Hopscotch Pilgrim?

When I first heard of the hopscotch pilgrim and it's rare glory, I thought it would be cool to have and a great bragging rights but when bored little me ran a dragon strike only to find a laser beam of epic proportions.

Never have I ever ran a dragon strike, and I don't plan to, not a fan of strikes and I don't think it's worth it for 1 gun

It's a crutch gun. A crutch of pulses. I'd rather vs Thorn than Pilgrim. Please don't.

1 ReplyIf you haven't already, just grab a 55A All Fate from the Vanguard. Get a few stability perks and your golden. It's just a step below Hopscotch. Don't waste time grinding, unless of course you want to gring.

2 RepliesI reckon it's worth the grind to have one of the best pulse rifles in the game and the king when you include its reroll ability, even if you don't use it, ironically I discovered that I actually enjoy my Timepiece more that I had the whole time! But no regrets here because it is still a great pulse rifle for my collection.

Just got mine yesterday. Sitting in the Postmaster when I went to the tower after doing a few strikes. I was pretty sure I always had room for it today but obviously not. Took about 75 Strikes and then 12 rolls to get Spray and Play, Reactive reload. I had Echo and thought it was good, Hopscotch is better and I haven't upgraded it fully yet. First game went 2.44 or something with it. If you play normal Crucible a lot get it, otherwise just have fun with whatever you have and don't grind.

You honestly shouldn't because ttk is 2 weeks away. And even if you get it you'd have to reroll the gun for perks which is a waste of materials, I say stop and stock up on materials like motes, coins, glimmer if necessary, max out your weapons, and complete 5000 bounties for quick xp.

5 RepliesIt really doesn't matter but I'm about 50 strikes in and haven't even seen it drop for anyone so I'm thinking it's a goose chase. I have seen it in game in the wild though so I know it's real. Lolz. Also, for what it's worth, I've tested everything else. Messenger is damn good. Spare Change is very close although will require counterbalance...I like the feel of Spare Change honestly...

You'll still be effective in normal crucible with it. It's a nice weapon.

Picked up a 55A-Allfate and it is beastly not sure how much better the Hopscotch would be but I am happy enough with the Allfate!
