Only 2 things I wish they improved [b]A) Visual customization options[/b] Perhaps choose your appearance independent of the gear you wear. Some games offer that, and it makes you feel more attached to your character. Instead we have classes wearing similar loadouts but different colors. And if I want to run that Raid then I need to wear something otherwise ugly. [b]B) Story story story[/b] I'm "OK" with the "conclusion" they chose for the vanilla story arc. It wasn't what I would have done, and from what I read of rumors + interviews I would have chosen something similar to the "original" ending. Also... do a better job at TELLING the story. There's obviously a lot there but it doesn't show up in the game (unless you count Grimoire cards as part of the game) I'm otherwise "fine" with what they're doing with gear and weapons up until now.

The inconsistency from the developers in regards to the dlc.

The feeling that the higher level I get, the weaker I become. Every enemy seems to scale up, (in health and damage) faster and higher than the player can. I feel weaker now at 33 fighting level 30 s, than I did at 20 fighting level 20s. It just dosn't feel like I've gotten more powerful.

The lag is crucible is annoying. I'm no expert but in other games I've played, players with lag were at a disadvantage. Not in crucible, they get you killed. I wish they would look at the big picture more with some of the game content changed. I'm not just talking about weapons. I'm talking about materials and other consumables. The Destiny economy is out of whack! If you're going to add weapons parts into the economy. They should be something I can buy or trade for in exchange for something else. Example: I'll give you 20 relic iron for 20 weapons parts. Bring back being able to sell off our extra materials to the vendors for Reputation.

The lack of regular weapon balancing

I can list a few: 1. Nerfing weapons that were only good in PvE is pointless. Not because it makes the game harder or whatever, but because it's not a competitive situation. I enjoy playing PvE and doing low level missions on occasions to feel like I'm on a power trip. Like a good has challenge from the heavens and is punishing the hive for their transgressions. They had the right idea with increasing shotgun damage in PvE, then they took a step backwards with the Gally nerf. [spoiler] just buff machine guns in PvE[/spoiler] 2. Melee range discrepancies between classes, but no damage differences to compensate. 3. Role inversions: they claim that hunters are agile, titans are tanks, and warlocks are glass cannons. In truth: warlocks are tanks, titans are agile and hunters are glass cannons 4. By adding reforging as a mechanic they killed weapon diversity, however the different foundaries appear to rectify this issue. Point goes to Bungie. 5. Every boss plays almost exactly the same until you get to the 32+ PoE and raid bosses. I mean this to say that every boss in strikes has a super strong ranged attack and a near OHK melee that sends you flying away. Again, TTK looks like it is adding some diversity. Point goes to Bungie. TL;DR 1. Gally nerf is dumb because it only affects PvE players 2. Melee damage should scale inversely with range of the class melee 3. Classes don't fulfill roles as advertised 4. Weapon diversity almost didn't exist (fixed) 5. Boss diversity doesn't exist outside of raids (fixed)

My one beef is that nearly everything I worked for in Destiny over the past year is going to be meaningless with Taken King. I mean it's cool what Bungie has in mind, but it feels like all the work Guardians have done in year one is being discarded. Hopefully Bungie sees that and allows the ascendency of at least a few weapons. I'm also getting sick of people whining about how op a weapon is, but getting angry when their complaints are answered.
