Let's see who can answer this question correctly.
only rule is no changing answers! This is an experiment!
----------------------------------
Edit: It's not Vex, although I shoulda put that in there to throw people off even more! It's true that both the Vex and the gun in question were nerfed at the same time, but the other gun was running rampant in Crucible while very few people actually had the Vex.
Edit Dos: Lots of people saying Shingen, trying to get me on s technicality! I am talking about the Live version of Destiny. As in, September 9th version :)
Extra credit to anyone who mentioned Uni Remote! While not as rampantly OP as the correct answer, it was nerfed very early on. Just so few people had it when the game first came out. Still something only a vigilant day oner world know about :)

It was still the last word

Pocket infinity was nerfed pretty hard early on
-
The minor suros nerf. Lol suros got autocorrected to autos.
-
I thought it was vex....
-
The suros was pretty OP

4 RepliesUm fail.... Vex
-
I remember the Shingen hehe
-
19 RepliesThe Shingen E was still the best pvp gun at launch, are you nuts? And hardly anyone had suros in the first couple weeks because xur hadn't sold it until week 3 or so. I had my suros for about a week before xur sold it.

It was a blue auto rifle

1 ReplyVex should be here

4 RepliesIf you are talking about specific weapons (not classes) it would be Hotfix 10/14/2014 and would pertain to the Vex Mythoclast and Pocket Infinity specifically. https://www.bungie.net/7_Hotfix---10142014/en/News/News?aid=12283 Entire weapon classes were rebalanced as early as pre-release but specific weapons were not touched until the update above as far as I can remember.

The Pocket Infinity was op af. It fired full auto and got the shots back. It was almost always...Infinite
-
VEX MYTHOCLAST as soon as the VoG opened

3 RepliesHow shitty was the thorn back then. Everyone cried for a buff! "Its not worth the bounty" they said
-
No plan c?
-
2 RepliesRed Death. Wasn't it changed into a pulse rifle in the first few days because the auto rifle version was too OP?
-
Pocket infinity was the first actual Nerf that destroyed it. SUROS was an earlier nerf but didn't change its insaneness.

Edited by bad person1234: 7/2/2015 6:05:38 PMThe auto rifle class and scout rifles in general was the first to get hit up. Though my vote was for the pocket infinity. https://www.bungie.net/7_Update-101---Patch-Notes/en/News/News?aid=12125 This update was for the sept 9th version of the game look it up it states the facts for the day one patch :p

The Suros was pretty OP in the beginning and I know people railed against the Pocket infinity(I never had an issue w/it back then)but when Bungie finally gave us VoG, the Vex was an absolute monster in PvP(pre nerf). A lot of newer people never had to go up against a Vex user pre-TDB. That was awful but it didn't deserve a nerf(along w/other Fusions). I hate seeing weapons nerfed in games

First to get nerf was def Pocket Infinity. I remember that OP chizz.
-
pocket infinity, doesnt lose damage on followong up shots

Suros Regime

1 ReplyEdited by Extreme Rugburn: 7/2/2015 5:29:08 PMYou left off the Vex Mythoclast, which was the very very first totally way over the top OP weapon. Your question is also misleading because you ask a question and then alter it by adding "first to get nerfed in parentheses". So Suros is the answer to your first question and Pocket infinity is your second answer.
